    The League

    Fantasy Football League Constitution

    1. Entrya. League is only open to owners who will stay active for all seasons.b. The inaugural season (2011) will have 12 teams.

    i. If you know someone who would like to join the league, they will be welcome tojoin in the following season as long as we can get an even number. However,

these teams will be at a disadvantage due to keepers.

    c. There will be a $10 entry fee to join the league.i. Fees will be used for prizes.

    2. Drafta. The draft will be either an auction or a snake depending on league vote each season.

    i. 2011 season will be a snake draft.b. The draft order will be decided by inverse order of the previous years standings.

    i. The last place team will have first pick at what draft position they want then thesecond to last place and so on.

ii. You may trade draft picks with other owners1. This includes picks in future seasons.2. Notify the league after any such trades.

iii. If new teams are added, they will take the last two available spots in the draft.iv. The 2011 draft order will be random.

    3. Keepersa. A team may keep 2 players every season.

    i.

If a team chooses to keep a player, he must forfeit his draft pick in the roundthat the player was drafted in during the previous seasons draft.

    1. If the draft changes from snake to auction or vice-versa a player will bekept at either the ESPN average draft position (ADP) of the previous

season or by the average dollar amount paid for that player from the

    previous season.

ii. You may not keep an undrafted player.iii. You may only keep a payer for a maximum of three years.iv. Each additional year that you keep a player his value goes up by one round.

    1. i.e. If you keep a player in the 5th round, the next year he will cost you a4

    th

round pick.v. Keepers reset each year.

    1. i.e. After two years you will not have your 2 new keepers plus your 2keepers from the season before.

    2. You will only have 2 keepers per year plus rookies.b. A team may keep all rookies that were drafted by that team.

    i. These players do not count as your 2 keepers.

ii. You may not keep rookies that were not drafted by onto your team.iii. If you drop a rookie at any time during the year, he becomes ineligible to keep.iv. There is no limit on how long you can keep a rookie.v. Though there is no round penalty for keeping a rookie, if you decide to keep a

rookie you do not get to have an extra roster spot for him.

    1. He will be considered your 16th round pick (the next rookie you keepwill be your 15th round and so on).

    4. Team ownersa. All owners are expected to compete throughout the season regardless of the standings.

    i. If an owner fails to play out the season, the league will take a vote to kick theowner out of the league

    b. In the case of an owner leaving the league voluntarily or involuntarily, we will find areplacement owner and he will take over the previous owners team.

    5. Tradesa. Trades will go through a two day review.b. If a majority of the league votes against the trade, it will be vetoed.

    i. However, I urge owners not to vote against a trade unless there is reason tothink that there is collusion involved.

    1. The veto process is there to stop cheating, not to change the way otherowners operate their team.

ii. This is a keeper league so just because you may think it is a bad trade the ownermay be doing the trade to set himself up for the future or he may truly think it is

    helping his team.

    1. This is not for you to decide.6. Free Agency

    a. The league will use a free agent auction.b. Each team will be given $100 dollars to spend throughout the year in free agency.c. After a player is dropped there will be a standard waiver period during which the

owners can bid for that player.

    d. A silent auction will take place; therefore, the owner will bid as much as he wants to payfor that player without knowing what other owners are bidding for that player.

    e. You may place a $0 bid on a player.f. You still have to drop a player to make room for the new player on your roster unless

you already have an empty roster slot.

    7. Rostera. The rosters will consist of:

    i. QB, RB, RB, RB/WR, WR, WR, TE, DEF/ST, K, BE, BE, BE, BE, BE, BE, BE.b. Owners are not required to have a valid starting lineup each week if he feels it gives him

    a better chance to win.

    i. i.e. If a team is up by one point going into Monday night, he may bench hisdefense to ensure a victory in fear of the defense getting negative points.
