The Bread of LYF
Food Pantry Is Very Low!
We need your help to restock the pantry.
Please bring canned goods and
other non-perishable items like
peanut butter, macaroni, flour,
and sugar, and place your dona-
tions in the blue bins that are po-
sitioned throughout the building.
A complete list of needed items
can be found on the table in the
foyer. *We do not need any
breakfast cereal at this time.
The International Ministry —aka FriendSpeak— is in Need of
Extra Volunteers This Summer.
During the school year, college students help us engage in conversational
English with our International friends, but most of them are not here
during the summer. We need extra help beginning in early May.
Summer is a good time to try out the International Ministry. You can just
come to the gym on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m. and observe. We will
help you get started. We have training materials available, or you can sit
in with someone who already has a partner. Many new International
people arrive in town during the summer, and they will stop by and
check out our program. Help us make them feel welcome!
You can talk with any of the people on our ministry team for more in-
formation: Mike Buckley, Donna Corley, Rick Farr, Norm Harrell, Rickey
& Desiree Munn, Robin & Peter Nelson, Amy Tomlinson, & Doug
Woodall.
VBS Work Day to create sets & decorations
Saturday, May 20, 9 a.m.– 1 p.m.
Senior Recognition Please take a minute to write a
note to each of our high school
seniors in the notebooks
located in the church foyer.

Dear Family at Laurel, I have been blessed by your love, care, and support. Thank you for being you, Jesus with skin on here on earth. I will have a bronchoscope at Blount Memorial Tuesday, May 9. Please pray that they can clean up the area to help relief the coughing from the thirty-three days of treatment. Also, my next treatment will start on the 18th. One treatment a week with 3 weeks off then one more round as the last. Keep lifting the prayers for I know they are being answered. - With Love and Thanksgiving, Donna Farrar
