How Does it Work?

One or both partners are able to contact us to discuss family mediation, and in some cases they are referred

by their own solicitor.

• First, there is an obligation-free introductory meeting, alone or together. This is a general discussion to meet the mediator about the nature of your potential course.

• During the process, there are a number of sessions with the mediator to help you reach an agreement.

• When solutions have been reached, we offer a draft mediation summary.

• We encourage each party to also consult with their own solicitor at any time.

How Does it Work?

Mediators can also work in twos. Sometimes a second mediator is

also a counsellor, who can provide additional help when emotions run

high.
