Tonight’s show is called “Seeing Stars in Dixie”.

It’s 1956 and Hollywood has arrived in Natchez, Mississippi with its brightest stars, Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Cliff to film “Raintree County”. Meanwhile at Clemmie’s, a Natchez tea room, the proprietor who has a fascination with movies and a secret admirer, oversees her own cast of the town’s most colorful characters. Competition for a small role in the movie brings out the best and worst of these memorable characters. Twists, turns and revelations lead Clemmie to trade a moment of fame for love and the chance to impact the lives of people she holds dear.

Grand Ole Opry, continued

The six-foot circle of dark, oak wood in the Opry House stage is shiny but clearly well worn. Cut from the stage of the Opry’s famous former home, the Ryman Auditorium, this circle gives newcomers and veterans alike the opportunity to sing on the same spot that once supported Uncle Dave Macon, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline and others.

As that wooden circle is the heart of the stage, the Opry’s heart is its music and its members.

Tonight we will be able to see and hear what the Grand Ole Opry is all about!

Nashville Ghost Tour & Hard Rock Cafe

A Night of Ghosts and More!

To start out the night, we will enjoy dinner at HardRock Café. Where could there possibly be a better place for the Hard Rock Café then inNashville?

Patsy Cline, Kitty Wells, Carlene Carter, Willie Nelson, Chet Atkins, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn and Lorrie Morgan all contributed to the "Nashville Sound," which made musical history.

If the honky-tonk charms of Opryland, the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Grand Ole Opry aren't your style, "Nash-Vegas" has many other claims to fame. There's more than enough in Nashville to keep anyone pickin' and grinnin'! And at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville, the good-times tradition continues. Located in the historic 'District' of downtown Nashville, near the Nashville Convention Center, the Adelphia Coliseum and the Nashville Arena, Hard Rock Cafe Nashville is not just the heart of Countrypolitan, but also the heart of rock 'n' roll!Saturday, July 11, 2009- $30 and Tuesday, July 14, 2009- $30

Belle Meade Plantation offers visitors the chance to experience what life was like in the 1800s. The centerpiece of the property is the Belle Meade mansion built in 1853.  This Greek revival house was home to five generations of the Harding-Jackson family. The farm was a thoroughbred nursery famous for breeding and training championship race horses.  Recent Kentucky Derby winners like Funny Cide and Barbaro, even racing legends like Secretariat can trace their bloodlines back to the breeding stock at Belle Meade.
