SIDEWALK CHALK CONTESTAll ages | Saturdays, Aug. 7, 14, 21,• Multiple LocationsShow us your favorite fandom in sidewalk chalk! Draw your favorite character or fandom on the sidewalk outside of the library or at home. Take a photo to share digitally with APL or ask a librarian to take a photo of your artwork to enter the contest. Visit Central, Hoffman, Mission Viejo or Tallyn’s Reach Libraries on the dates above. Visit the Youth Services (Central) or main desks to get a piece of sidewalk chalk. Winners will be selected by popular vote via Facebook and Engage Aurora.
POKÉMON IN AURORA CONTESTAll agesTake an AR photo of a Pokémon in Pokémon Go at an Aurora landmark (a library, the museum, a park, a piece of public art, etc.). Three random entries will be selected to win a prize.
