Year Round!
We are a local family owned business. We are proud to give back to our local community and create local jobs. The original Roger’s Ice Cream & Burgers was established in 1940 in Moscow, Idaho and is now located on Sherman Ave. & 13th. Our 2nd location, Roger’s Burgers is on Neider Ave. between Hwy 95 and Government Way just north of I-90 was opened Spring 2012.
While most fast food restaurants serve frozen, over-processed, prepackaged, precooked food, everything at Roger’s is made to order from scratch the old fashioned way. We are committed to serving the highest quality, freshest ingredi-ents starting with our hamburgers. We make them from 100% fresh ground beef. No frozen hamburger patties, and absolutely no fillers. We also serve an amazing juicy turkey burger and ex-cellent garden burger. Nothing is kept under heat lamps and we don’t even own a microwave. We cook every burger & fry fresh to order. All our burgers are topped with the freshest ingredients.
Our lettuce is hand-shredded, and onions and tomatoes are sliced daily. Our burger & fry sauce are made from scratch.
At Roger’s, the perfect complement to a great burger is great homemade French fries. We hand cut locally grown potatoes daily and never use frozen, processed French fries with added preser-vatives and ingredients. We fry our fries in Rice Bran oil which has no preservatives, trans-fats or chemical. It has naturally occurring antioxidants, omega 3 & omega 6.
The Sherman location has over 17 flavors of premium hand dipped ice cream to choose from including specialty flavors Caramel Caribou & Moose Tracks. Not to mention local favorite Huckleberry Heaven. Also, a no sugar added flavor and a non-dairy sorbet. Ask about our seasonal flavor of the month. Come check out our nostalgic, family friendly restaurant. We are open year round, with great outdoor seating &
a covered patio during the hot summer months. During the cold winter months you can call in your order ahead of time and we will bring it out to your car or you can enjoy in our heated tent.
The Neider location offers indoor seating and a convenient drive thru. Although there is no hand scooped ice cream, we do offer ice cream shakes or malts in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and huckleberry.
At Roger’s we pride ourselves on serving fresh, quality ingredients with great, friendly service.
Taste the Qualityat Roger’s Ice Cream & Burgers!

Each May, the nation celebrates Older Americans Month to recognize older Ameri-cans (ages 60 and over) for their contribu-tions and provide them with information to help them stay healthy and active. This year, we are focusing on injury prevention with the theme Safe Today, Healthy Tomorrow.
We want to hear from young people about the older adult in their life and why they are special. It could be a grandparent, a relative, a neighbor, or someone that is extra special – aged 60 and over. Older Americans give their time generously and can have a positive impact on the lives of young people. We want to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions that older Americans make to the lives of others.
Two top prizes will be awarded during an assembly the end of May. A Family Pack of four (4) tickets to Silverwood Theme Park, and to another lucky winner, the use of Spokane’s own Game Truck featuring a state-of-the art Mobile Game Theater fea-turing four flat screen TVs, dozens of video

Joy and Todd Amunrud and their two children Jane (8) and Jens (5) of Northfield recently welcomed, 18 year old, Zin Mar from Myanmar (Burma) into their home as an exchange student. The transition from Myanmar, a hot tropical country to a Minnesota fall and winter was a sig-nificant change to say the least for Zin Mar. “She has been great about handling the cold winters, very adaptable, and even willing to go outside,” laughs Joy Amunrud.
in Mar attends the local high school and is even taking a class at school called “service learn-ing”. This allows her to participate regularly as a volunteer in local elementary schools and other places around Northfield. Zin Mar has a sincere concern for those around her. She dreams of becoming a civil rights attorney when she goes back to Myanmar so that she can assist disadvan-taged girls who are subject to illegal trafficking in Burma. The service learning class offered her host school continues to reinforce this aspiration in Zin Mar.
In Myanmar most homes do not have ovens. The Amunruds have had fun introducing Zin Mar to the art of baking. She has been very curi-ous how to add ingredients and the chemistry that is involved in the process. On special occa-sions Zin Mar will prepare a traditional Burmese dinner of stir-fry and fried rice for the family.
The experience to host an exchange student from Myanmar has been a positive one for the Amunruds. It has provided them an opportunity to appreciate their family, home, and community from a fresh perspective. “My own culture and customs are taking on a new meaning. This has been an enriching experience for us, as a family. It makes you stop and think about your life differ-ently and has made me more intentional about my own life and life choices,” reports Joy. Thanks to the love and special care of Joy and her family, Zin Mar will cherish this incredible winterland adventure. When she returns to Myanmar at the end of the school year she may finally get a chance to thaw out but she will certainly have

Opening to our community is a medically advanced and real world experienced approach to the foundation of any health and fitness plan. We would like to introduce you to Set Point Physiology, Brad and Mary Burke, local trainers and consultants in the fitness industry since 1985, and their Medical Director, Dr. Larry H. Hooper, M.D., board certified and member of The American Association of Anti-Aging Medicine. "
They’ve combined their years of credentials and experience with the latest in molecular testing and blood screenings to identify key components in your genetic pre-dispositions, hormone levels, food and drug allergies and propensitites in your body’s response to physical activity to design programs that take the guesswork out of bouncing from program to program or as a guideline to fine tune a system you already enjoy."
Wonder why your program isn’t working when you work out harder and eat better than your friend, that is losing weight, and you’re not? Why your other friend eats right, exercises and suffers a heart attack at 38? Helping your son or daughter battling weight issues at a young age that seem unexplained? Why you know your body shouldn’t “feel this old”? "
Your Set Point is the median that your body operates for extended periods of time: “setting” down as you age or “re-set” based on an appropriated action plan. These points are based on four principle factors, and how they collectively work, or are malfunctioning, is determining the way you feel, look and age. "
Don’t settle for trying to add years to your life - add life to your years! Come see us and discover that

The nervous system controls and coordi-nates every function in the human body. The spinal bones house and protect these nerves.
Irritation and inflammation to the nervous system creates serious stresses on the body, which are devastating to the human experi-ence on many levels. Chiropractors call this a subluxation.
Chiropractic care enhances function of the nervous system.
It’s that simple…There are over 60 differ-ent approaches or techniques within Chiro-practic, all attempting to achieve the same goal, just approaching it indifferent ways.
What makes Upper Cervical Chiropractic so unique is the ability to identify the most influential area of the spine so that when corrected will allow the rest of the spine to adapt back to its normal and healthy posi-tion. Almost always that main misalignment will be at the very top of the spine where it connects to your head. By carefully analyz-ing and precisely correcting this area we are able to restore function back to the rest of the body.
Thermography: Computerized Infrared Thermography is the gold standard of know-ing when and when not to adjust. Measure-ments are done each visit to monitor prog-ress and to ensure that we know without a shadow of a doubt that we are heading in the right direction; toward optimal function.
3D X-Ray: Recognizing that each persons spine is very different from the next we pay extra special attention to how we image the spine. At our office we can view your spine in 3D which allows us to get the clearest and most accurate assessment of what needs to be corrected.
Gentle Specific Adjusting: After we take the 3D X-Rays and have clear picture of what needs to be corrected, you could imagine we need a special adjustment to ac-
count to the uniqueness of your spine. All of our adjusting is done without any twisting, bending or “crunching” of the spine.
Rest and Restoration: After we have made the correction it is important to rest for 20 minutes so that the adjustment has the best chance of lasting until the next visit. This is because it is not the adjustment that helps you heal, but the length of time you “hold” your adjustment. We will have you relax in a chair designed to take all the pressure off of the spine as it settles into place.
About Us: Rachae Bell D.C. has a passion for help-
ing others achieve optimal function and well-being, living happy healthy lives. She has the most fun working with pregnant women, infants and children.
As a child she wondered why some people healed faster than others and why some kids were out sick with an illness, while others remained healthy. Her fascination with the human body and its capacity to heal has steered her into the Chiropractic profession. She is excited to make a positive impact on you and your family!
What is Chiropractic?
Do you suffer from pain as a result of an auto accident and whiplash? Are your experiencing frequent back pain, headaches and migraines?Have you been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis?
Dr. Bell attended the University of Red-lands (U of R) for her undergraduate degree in PreMed/Biology while participating in NCAA Volleyball and Basketball and earn-ing Female Student Athlete of the Year. She has her Teaching Credential from the U of R in Life Sciences as well. She graduated from Life Chiropractic College West as Student of the Year and with Honors in Clinic. She has served hundreds of people on a mission to El Salvador and has over 250 hours of Upper Cervical Specific Chiropractic Train-ing.
She is currently a member of the Wash-ington State Chiropractic Association (WSCA), the International Chiropractic As-sociation (ICA), International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), and is doing postgraduate work obtaining her Diplomate in Chiropractic Upper Cervical Procedures (DCUCP).
When she is not at Clear Chiropractic, you can find her water or snow skiing depend-ing on the season. She has a fiancé Jake and a dog Blue who loves to greet you for your appointment.

Every homeowner knows how quickly regu-lar maintenance and repair costs to a home can add up. For many it is difficult to keep up with the work and the costs. The City of Spokane Housing Programs offer assistance to qualifying homeowners to complete those repairs. Fund-ing for these loans comes from the U.S. Depart-ment of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). Kiemle & Hagood Company manages these Pro-grams for the City of Spokane.
The Lead Safe Spokane Program This Program provides a loan of up to $13,000

There are no payments or inter-est accruing during this time. The remaining loan does not require any payments until the home is sold or refinanced, but interest does accrue at a 3% annual interest rate.

The property must be an owner-occupied, single-family home within the Spokane City Limits. As the program man-ager, Kiemle & Hagood Company processes the loan application (regular lending criteria do NOT apply), works with the homeowner to create the work list, and sees the project through construc-tion. All work is done by professional contractors who are licensed, bonded, and insured. The work is completed in accordance with applicable build-ing codes, & must meet the Program’s material & workmanship standards.
