OMAHA HIGH/LOWAlso known as Omaha Split 8 or Better, the object of Omaha High/Low is to create the best 5-card Poker high hand and/or low hand out of the nine cards dealt, by only using two down cards and three community cards.

Playing the GameOmaha High/Low uses five community cards in conjunction with each Player’s own four cards. A minimum of two and a maximum of ten Players can participate at each table. The two Players to the left of the Dealer button begin by posting the blind bets. Four cards are dealt to each Player face down, followed by the first round of betting. Next, three cards are dealt face up in the center of the table, these are community cards. The second round of betting follows. Then the fourth communal card is dealt face up, followed by a betting round. The final communal card is dealt face up, followed by the last round of betting. Ultimately, it’s time to decide the winner! The Dealer reads aloud all hands shown at this time and the pot goes to the highest-ranking 5-card Poker hand and, if applicable, the lowest-ranking 5-card Poker hand as well. The winning lowest-ranking hand may not contain any pairs and may not contain a card higher than 8.

7-CARD STUDThe object of the game is to create the best 5-card Poker hand out of the seven cards.

Playing the GameThree cards are dealt to each Player - two face down and one face up. The first betting round takes place; beginning with a forced bet for the Player showing the lowest card. The fourth card is dealt face up, followed by a round of betting. Two more rounds of dealing (face up cards) and betting follow. The final card is dealt face down, followed by the last round of betting. At last, the suspense comes to an end! Each Player in the hand turns their three down cards face up on the table. The Dealer reads aloud all hands shown at this time and the pot goes to the highest-ranking 5-card Poker hand. In the case of a tie, strength of hand is determined by the suit of the tied cards, in order of highest to lowest-ranking – Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs.

*All Poker game variations and limits are only offered if sufficient interest and tables are available.
