Mrs. Ramon’s and Mr. Kowaltschuk’s grade 8 history classes recently teamed up with Dr. Hayter, SAC Archivist, to explore the lives of some of the 104 young Andreans who died in the First World War. The students used the School’s archives to investigate each fallen Andrean’s life at SAC and in the military. The end result was a ‘trading card’ for each fallen Andrean, some of which are displayed here. The boys thoroughly enjoyed delving into the lives of their fellow Andreans. Let us continue to remember and honour all Andreans who fought for their country and especially those who were never to return.TRANSCRIPT
