URBANVIBES-
Urban culture is the culture of towns and cities. The defining theme is the presence of a great number of very different people in a very lim-ited space - most of them are stran-gers to each other. This makes it possible to build up a vast array of subcultures close to each other, ex-posed to each other's influence, but without necessarily intruding into people's private lives.

MASTERSIN DETAILS
The undoubted strength of Uni-form models is the different kinds of washes with which denim fabrics are treated each time. A real ‘wash experience’ that makes each model so unique and unrepeatable, ideal for those not content with simply wearing a nice pair of jeans and who also aim at setting a real trend. An elegant and sporty man, a lover of‘refined details, never pre-dictable and banal, who stands out by nonchalantly wearing what once used to be work pants and that now have come to represent “fashion” par excellence.
A thirty-year history, that of Uni-form jeans, which has run from the 80s to today, never forgetting the past though also turning to the pre-sent and even more to the future.Today the past is represented by the legendary ’80s when the brand was born, while the present is connected to the direction taken by Uniform in 2003 when the brand was bought back and when, in partnership with a lead-ing European manufacturer, it began to turn the charm of the past into something contemporary.

Denim is one of the most ver-satile and durable fabrics on the market. Transcend-ing gender, age and economic class, the tough fiber fea-tures in most ready-to-wear collections - both luxury and high-street.

BLUE BLOOD
It's an incredible concept considering denim started out as a uniform for Ameri-can workers two hundred years ago.
An intricate cloth, denim is a rugged cotton twill weave, crafted as the weft passes under two or more warp fib-ers.
This technique forms the sig-nature diagonal ribbing known on the reverse side of the fabric - setting denim apart from regular cotton fabric.
14
The twill-weave, which ensures the material's strength, is also crafted using different colors, allowing for one hue only to feature on the fabric surface.
02 American textile mills start-ing producing cotton tex-tiles in the late 18th cen-tury, becoming independent from foreign producers, like the English.
From the very beginning, den-im fabrics were an important component. One of the first citing of the word 'denim' was in 1789, when a Rhode Is-land newspaper reported on the local production of den-im.

A selvedge is a "self-finished" edge of fab-ric, keeping it from unraveling and fraying. The term "self-finished" means that the edge does not require additional finishing work, such as hem or bias tape, to prevent fraying.

SELVEDGERAW FEELINGS-
Selvedge denim is woven using old-fashioned denim-weaving tech-niques; most authentically woven on old looms. See finished selvedge jeans. Selvedge looms were popular in denim weaving until the mid-to-late 1900’s. US denim mills began modernizing their machinery to speed production as demand for denim grew world-wide.

SELVEDGERAWFEELINGS-Selvedge denim is not the same as raw denim. Raw denim has never been washed. There-fore, all denim – selvedge or non-selvedge – is raw when it comes out of the loom. Washed denim is no longer raw.
There may be many questions concerning the differences between selvedge and non-sel-vedge denim. One is not supe-rior to the other in terms of quality and longevity. Moreo-ver, the cotton and the dyeing processes used for selvedge are not necessarily differ-ent than those used for non-selvedge. In question of com-fort, non-selvedge may offer somewhat more flexibility in fabric.

Casual comprises anything not tradi-tionally appropriate with more for-mal dress codes.
It saw broadscale introduction in the Western world following the coun-terculture of the 1960s. Notwith-standing sportswear, when emphasis-ing casual wear's personal comfort.

CASUALSOUL-
In a broader sense, the word "casual" may be defined as anything relaxed, occasional, spontaneous, "suited for eve-ryday use". Sometimes it is also popularly called "infor-mal" in the sense of "not for-mal", although informal at-tire traditionally refers to a Western dress code associ-ated with suits - a step be-low semi-formal attire - thus being more formal than casual attire.
With the popularity of spec-tator sports in the late 20th century, a good deal of ath-letic gear has influenced casual wear, such as jogging suits, running shoes, and track clothing. Work wear worn for manual labor also falls into casual wear.
Basic materials used for casual wear include denim, cotton, jer-sey, flannel, and fleece. Materials such as velvet, chiffon, and brocade are often associated with more formal cloths.

UNIFORMJEANS
Black denim is iconic. Worn since the mid 50’s, but still going strong.
Wearing black denim has always been a way to express attitude and rebellion.
Today, wearing a pair of black denim jeans is considered “clean” and “well-dressed”, but we know it’s a way for the society to give all you rebels out there a chance to show what you’re made of.

BACKTOBLACK
Today, a pair of black jeans is considered well-dressed, but to the everyday rebels who keep questioning the state of things, who keep pushing to make this world a little better every day, it’s a mindset. Black denim is way to differentiate yourself from the rest.
Black won’t fade the same way indigo does. The black pen-etrates the fiber all the way through, making it almost im-possible to get the same con-trast. You could get some mustaches and honeycombs and such, but when washing it, the color will fade and make it grey.
