The City of Frisco Parks & Recreation Department believes that all individuals should be provided with leisure opportunities that al-low for performance at their highest level. If you or a family mem-ber has special needs and would like to participate in our programs or use a facility, please call us before registering and every effort will be made to meet your needs. Please indicate on the registra-tion form if any special accomodations are needed for successful inclusion in a program, according to the Americans with Disabili-ties Act, and we will contact you to discuss them.

Registration FeesAll program fees are set according to the cost of the instructor, supplies and minimum class enrollment. Some programs may require additional fees or supplies. All fees collected support and finance these programs.

Waiting ListsDue to instructor/participant ratios, each class and program will have a maximum number of spots available. Once the class maximum has been reached, subsequent registrants will be notified that the class is full and will have the option to be placed on a waiting list. Should spots become available, program openings will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis from registrants that appear on the waiting list. If you are contacted off a waitlist, you must register and pay within 24 hours at the Frisco Athletic Center.

Quality AssuranceTry our classes! If, after attending the first class, you are not happy with the quality of the program, call us right away. Tell us what is wrong so we can make it right. There are no refunds for non-attendance, one-day classes or supply fees.

Withdrawal/Transfer/Refund Policy1. In the event the Parks & Recreation Department cancels a class,

you will receive a full refund or a credit equal to the class fee; or a class transfer can be requested.

2. A credit will be issued to the participant’s FAC account if a completed Refund Request Form is received at least 10 days prior to the start of the class or session. A 20% processing fee will be assessed.

3. If a Withdrawal Request Form is not received at least 10 days prior to the start of the class or session, a refund will not be issued.

4. Medical Refund – A credit will be issued to the participant’s account if an illness or injury causes a participant to miss a single-day class, the entire session or the remainder of a session. To be eligible for a Medical Refund, written documentation from a physician’s office must accompany the Refund Request Form and must be received within 72 hours of the first missed class. A 20% processing fee will be assessed. The refund will be pro-rated if the withdrawal occurs during the session.

5. Transfers from one Frisco Fun Guide season to another are not allowed.

6. Processing of refund checks from cash or check payments takes approximately four to six weeks. Refund checks will be mailed. Refunds to credit card must be made in person.

7. Account credits are valid for one year from the date of issue. 8. Under no circumstances will a cash refund be provided.

CancellationsThe Parks & Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any class, program or activity due to weather, failure to meet minimum registration requirements, and situations beyond our control. In the event a class is cancelled, you will be notified and a full refund will be issued.

Sibling PolicyThe structure of the parent/child classes are designed for direct interaction between one parent and one child. We allow only children who are of the appropriate age and registered for the class to attend the program. Other siblings or children will not be permitted in the classroom or allowed to be left unattended in the lobby outside of the class.

Returned Check PolicyA $35 service charge will be assessed for any returned check.

Learn to Swim - Parent and Child (6mo.-3yrs.)The purpose of the Parent and Child Aquatic program is to help young children become comfortable in and around the water so they are ready to learn to swim. While the class is designed to raise the comfort level of the child, it is also intended to educate the parent or caregiver in basic water skills so they are better equipped to aid in their child’s aquatic education and ensure that their child stays safe in all water activities. Children two to three years will be introduced to equipment used in preschool lessons and will work with instructors on taking individual direction to help transition from parent and child to preschool swim classes.Code Days Dates Times FeesSAT 9:00AM23703 Sa 9/07 - 9/28 9:00 - 9:35am $4023694 Sa 10/05 - 10/26 9:00 - 9:35am $4023699 Sa 11/02 - 11/23 9:00 - 9:35am $4023708 Sa 12/07 - 12/21 9:00 - 9:35am $30T/TH 9:45AM23705 Tu/Th 9/03 - 9/26 9:45 - 10:20am $8023691 Tu/Th 10/01 - 10/24 9:45 - 10:20am $8023700 Tu/Th 10/29 - 11/21 9:45 - 10:20am $8023695 Tu/Th 12/03 - 12/19 9:45 - 10:20am $60SAT 10:30AM23704 Sa 9/07 - 9/28 10:30 - 11:05am $4023697 Sa 10/05 - 10/26 10:30 - 11:05am $4023701 Sa 11/02 - 11/23 10:30 - 11:05am $4023702 Sa 12/07 - 12/21 10:30 - 11:05am $30M/W 6:15PM23707 W/M 9/04 - 9/25 6:15 - 6:50pm $7023689 M/W 9/30 - 10/23 6:15 - 6:50pm $8023693 M/W 10/28 - 11/20 6:15 - 6:50pm $8023696 M/W 12/02 - 12/18 6:15 - 6:50pm $60Location: FAC - Indoor Aquatic Center

Helping Frisco Families Make Lasting Memories

“As we began to talk to 3:16 team Realty about selling our home, we had them come to our house. Which really helped us understand what we needed to do to get the house ready. They walked through the house and looked at different things that needed to be upgraded and enhanced, and de-cluttered and cleaned up in different places. It was just those kinds of things which we had the opportunity to do that we really looked back on and were very thankful for because we believe that helped to sell the house as quick as it did.2-days!
