The Residents’ Assistance Fund comes alongside of the resident who outlives their funds, at no fault of

their own, to assist in their continued care.

1961 - 1962Contractor and other interested

parties assisted in financing to begin the project that would eventually cost $5 million. The Hearthstone

opened February 14, 1966.

1950’s The Lutheran Council of Seattle - King County and area Lutheran

Pastors discuss the idea of a “Lutheran Retirement Home.”

1977Completion of the Health Center devoted fully to Skilled Nursing.

2010Establishment of our 1st

Memory Care Unit with private rooms, coummunity lounge,

and dining room.

2015Village Cove, our newest

construction of 28 Independent apartments welcomed its first

resident in April.
