Igor Zubkovsky Acclaimed Russian cellist will be joined by his mother, pianist Susanna Kolker, for a duo recital of works by Johannes Brahms, Robert Schumann, Mikhail Glinka and Karl Davydov. 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14 MCC Concert Hall Bedford Campus Yelena Beriyeva Yelena Beriyeva, a powerful and graceful pianist, will perform a recital of works by Modest Mussorgsky, Frédéric Chopin and Claude Debussy. 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23 MCC Concert Hall Bedford Campus Caravan World Music Trio Jérôme Mouffe, guitar, Vladan Milencovic, piano, and Salil Sachdev, percussion, are accomplished musicians from Belgium, Serbia, and India respectively. Their eclectic ensemble, which specializes in improvisatory music in non-western styles, illustrates how music can cross boundaries to be influenced by a variety of cultures. 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 Federal Building, Assembly Room Lowell Campus Co-sponsored by MCC’s Interdisciplinary Weekend: Immigration, Fall 2016 Orlando Cela & Friends Orlando Cela, noted flutist and MCC faculty member, will be joined by Wei Zhao, flute, Aron Zelkowicz, cello, and Carmen Rodríguez-Peralta, piano, for a colorful program.
