Fall 2012 Commencement Program from Minnesota State Mankato

  • December 15, 2012

  • Minnesota State University, Mankato: A place where big ideas meet real-world thinking.

Our tradition began in 1868, when we opened our doors

to 27 students with dreams of becoming teachers. Almost

150 years later, the tradition continues as we have become

a comprehensive doctoral university with more than 15,000

students, 1,800 faculty and staff, and 109,000 alumni

worldwide. Together, we are committed to breaking down

barriers, creating solutions and achieving a new level of

greatness. And together, we will pursue bigger ideas, apply

real-world thinking more broadly and make life better for

people throughout our state, our region and our world.
