Key Findings Religion plays a key role in the lives of our Millennials. 81% of our Millennials identify themselves as religious, spiritual or both. 73% said that they at least sometimes consider their faith or religion when making their day-to-day decisions compared to the 14% who rarely do and 13% who never do.
Our Millennials are actively practicing what they believe and contributing to religious organizations. Regardless of their beliefs, 73% of our Millennials have given their time and 69% have given their money to support a religious organization. When asked how often they practice, 33% said daily and another 15% responded at least once a week.
As our Millennials get older they tend to become less religious. 40% of our Millennials said that they practice less than in the past compared to the 25% who practice more, however religion seems to be a family activity for our Millennials who do practice. 41% of our Millennials always or usually practice their religion with their family, compared to 26% who practice with their significant other and 18% with their friends.
