Our Vision

Middle School and High School is a wonderfulyet confusing time for teenagers these days.

At Faith, we want to meet them where they

are and show them the love of Christ in a waythat is meaningful to them. We seek to

provide fun, laughter, and honest

relationships while also tackling sincerebiblical truths and some of life ’s most

important questions.

Sunday Youth Ministry

Students in grades 7-12 meet weekly for games,food, hanging out with friends, worship, and Bible

study that connects with their lives and where they

are. During the school year, we meet on the 1st &3rd Sundays at 7:15 PM and on the 2nd & 4th

Sundays at 6:00 PM. During the summer months,

we meet each Sunday at 7:15 PM (except on 5thSundays).

Service & Ministry

As we see God’s grace in our lives, our response

should be an outward focus and a desire to help ourneighbors. We hold several service projects

throughout the year to instill a service-oriented

attitude as we share the love of Christ with thosearound us.

Retreats

Three annual retreats give us time to unplug from thebusyness of life. Our October "Reality Factor" retreat

with the other churches of our presbytery (our

geographic region) offers the excitement of highropes, climbing walls, and lots of fun with engaging

worship and powerful teaching. In February, we

head to the Poconos for the fun of tubing and skiingover Presidents' Day Weekend. In the spring, we

retreat to Lancaster County, PA for the relaxingsetting of the retreat that has affectionately come to

be known as the "Chinese Farmhouse Retreat."

These times away from the hustle and bustle ofeveryday life allow the students to build new

friendships, strengthen relationships, interact with

leaders and mentors, and study biblical truth in a fun,relaxing, yet engaging setting.

Annual Mission Trips

Each year, we go on a missions trip that becomes

the high point of our service-oriented ministry.Whether we travel to Mexico, West Virginia, or stay

right here in Wilmington, the students share the love

of Christ through labor projects, holding VBS or

summer camps, and living out life together as we

investigate the claims of Christianity and how it canimpact their lives right where they are.

Game Nights & Special Events

On planned evenings throughout the year, we get

together to play games, share some food, share

each others' company, and hear a short Bible lesson.These nights provide a fun and relaxing way to get to

know each other better, learn important life truths,and a great way for students to introduce their

friends to the fun of youth ministry and the truths of

God's Word. Scattered throughout the year we alsoenjoy other fun activities such as scavenger hunts,

cookouts, and other adventures which provide a

forum for us to share in each others' lives.

Small Group Bible Study

During the school year, the Youth Girls get together

for conversation and bible study where they canlearn how the Bible relates to them as young women

in God’s great big world. They meet Thursday

evenings at 7:15 PM.
