Earn up to three Canadian Welding Bureau licences Our one-year program gives you the chance to earn certifications with the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB). You may test in three welding processes in the flat position to obtain up to three licences. Tests take place on campus, which means testing in familiar surroundings. Sheridan welding students get a discounted rate, making this one of the most affordable ways to earn welding certifications. Learn the best way to find a welding job In the classroom, you’ll learn how to conduct a job search, maintain proper work documentation and communicate effectively on the job. Program EligibilityOntario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:• One English, Grade 12 (ENG4C or ENG4U).

Applicant SelectionEligible applicants will be selected on the basis of their previous academic achievement (the average of their six highest senior-level credits, including required courses).

Applicants who do not meet the admission requirements for this program will be assessed and advised individually and may be considered for other, related programs.

English Language ProficiencyAll applicants whose first language is not English must meet Sheridan’s English proficiency requirements.
