Schedule of requirements In this phase together with the client we define the require- ments regarding functionality, safety, design, sustainability, manageability, and financial feasibility. 2. Sketching Our next step is to explore possible solutions by sketch- ing, taking into account the schedule of requirements. 3. Design We optimize the chosen alternative and perform the necessary strength and stability calculations. 4. Technical drawings Using the results of the calculations we develop the chosen alternative into a technical design, 3D if required. 5. Contract specifications Based on the technical design, (RAW) contract specifications are drawn up. 6. Procurement and construction We organize the tender process up to the contract award. When the necessary permits are granted construc- tion can begin, during which we can supervise the work in progress. 7. Application, management and maintenance To ensure functionality and structural integrity during it’s intended life-cycle regular maintenance is essential. Identifying defects or deterio- ration in an early stage can prevent excessive mainte- nance costs. Buro CITE advises you on managing construction maintenance and sets up maintenance plans.
