JAINCO AT A GLANCE

The journey of JAINCO was started way back in 1973 as envisioned by Mr. Surendra Kumar Surana. Jainco Group ini�ally was engaged in various business ac�vi�es like Packaging, Garments, Paper & Paper Products, Real Estate, Land Development and Capital & Commodity Market having offices in Kolkata & Bangalore in India, besides Manufacturing & Exporting of Transmission, Distribu�on & Pole Line Materials from its factory located in Howrah, WB, India.

In the year 2007, Jainco zoomed its focus exclusively on Manufacturing of Transmission, Distribu�on and Pole Line Materials and incorporated as JAINCO TRANSMISSION LIMITED, a Limited Company under Indian Companies Act, 1956 having its Registered Office in Kolkata, India under the Chairmanship of Mr. Surendra Kumar Surana. Today a�er 47 years of con�nuous hard work and up grada�on of infrastructure & facili�es, Jainco is one of the most trusted Indian Manufacturer for Distribu�on and Transmission Line Fi�ngs.

In the year 1973, JAINCO commenced its manufacturing of small components and accessories of Transmission Line etc. in a small factory in Ichapur, Howrah. Gradually, machineries were installed to manufacture steel Fabricated Items like Arcing Horns, Yoke Plate, Sag Plate Extension Links, Straps, Midspan Joints etc. required for Transmission Lines up to 400kV and supplied to the then renowned Indian Manufacturers of Transmission & Distribu�on Line Materials. Simultaneously, it con�nued its regular manufacture & supply of Transmission, Distribu�on & Pole Line Products directly to various Indian & Overseas Power U�li�es. Due to its product quality & commi�ed delivery, amidst steep challenges, the company has earned reputa�on in Na�onal & Interna�onal market and got approval from NTPC, NHPC, Powergrid, DVC and most of the other leading State Owned Power U�li�es in India for Supply of Transmission & Distribu�on Line Materials, Pole Line & AB Cable Fi�ngs & Accessories thereof.

The encouragement from the Top Indian U�li�es & EPC Contractors, increasing demand of T&D Materials, Workload, In flow of orders had encouraged the Company to transfer its Unit in the year 2008 at Jalan Complex, Jangalpur, Howrah, an Industrial Belt situated by the side of Na�onal Highway No. 6 well connected to Sea Port, Rly. siding & Air Port . By the year 2018 the unit had total covered area of 2, 82, 000 Sq. Ft. housing Manufacturing & Tes�ng Facili�es. Total Area of the unit being 5,00, 000 Sq. Ft. approx. leaves us sufficient scope for further expansion.

In the new premises, the company has installed all the Modern Automated Machineries required for manufacturing of Transmission & Distribu�on Line Materials up to 400kV. The manufacturing facili�es include Fabrica�on of Steel & Aluminium Components, Modern Aluminium Cas�ng Plant, Machining & Assembly of all Cri�cal Items/ Components, Two Large Semi Automa�c Galvanizing Plants, mul�ple CNC for Angles, Channels, Flats, Rounds, Clamps etc, Plasma Cu�ng, few VMC for Die Development and many other sophis�cated equipments to support increased produc�vity.

To support the manufacturing, designing is done by Qualified & Experienced Engineers using latest design technique using updated so�wares in our exis�ng computerised system and Quality is supported by Sophis�cated Tes�ng Equipments/Facili�es to conduct all Mechanical, Electrical & Chemical Tests to meet the demand of all interna�onal standards for Distribu�on & Transmission Line.

The company has successfully developed & Type Tested Hardware Fi�ngs, Conductor & Earthwire Accessories for 400kV Transmission Lines and obtained approval for the same from pres�gious clients/u�li�es like the Power Grid Corpora�on of India.

The Company is being run under the able leadership and guidance of its Chairman, Mr. Surendra Kumar Surana, a great visionary and assisted by his Young, Energe�c & Dynamic sons Mr. Adarsh Surana and Mr. Atul Surana holding directorships efficiently and effec�vely.

The management is well supported by Qualified & Experienced Managers & Engineers and a team of skilled, efficient and integrated work force.

l Turn-over soared from US$ 15 Million in 2013-14 to US$30 Million in 2018-19.

l Successfully type tested Sub-Sta�on Hardware Fi�ngs up to 66/132/220kV at CPRI, Bangalore for almost all Al�tude Levels & Clamp & Connectors at ERDA.

l Inducted CNC Machines for Cu�ng & Punching of Steel Flats, Angles & Channels. Plasma for Plate Cu�ng, VMC for Die Making.

l Introduced 1500KN Horizontal Tensile Tes�ng Machine

l Received accolades & apprecia�on from Indian Premier Power U�li�es as a Quality Manufacturer.

l Obtained approvals from Powergrid (Upto 400kV), NTPC, NHPC, & Various State U�li�es for manufacture & supply of Transmission & Distribu�on Line Materials.

l CORE approval obtained for Railway Electrifica�on for supply of Ferrous & Non-ferrous Accessories.

l Achieved ability to manufacture test & supply complete range of Power Transmission, Distribu�on & Pole Line Materials, Railway Electrifica�on and Telecom Line Materials simultaneously.

l Achieved ability to conduct In house Type/Rou�ne/Acceptance tests up to 400kV & above range, standalone and with Insulator string.

l Exercised adequate measures for Process Control, Effec�ve Quality, Safety and Environment Management.
