Guns N’ Roses: What is your favorite song by Guns n’ Roses?

Alex Veon: My favorite song is “Sweet Child O Mine” It starts out slow and gets faster. The whole Appetite for Destruction album was a good albumGuns N’ Roses: Oh! That’s a good one! Slash came up with the guitar riff when he was just messing around on the guitar one day. He actually hated it at first but Axl convinced him to keep playing it.

Alex Veon: I really like the guitar riff in the beginning. What is that song about anyway?

Guns N’ Roses: The song is a poem that Axl wrote for his girlfriend, Erin Everly.

Alex Veon: It really does sound like a poem at first like when Axl says “ She’s got a smile that it seems to me, reminds me of childhood memories, where everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky.

Guns N’ Roses: That song was one of our best. It hit number one on MTV.
