Questionnaire To Create a Facebook Business Page & Twitter Page

Your Account:

1. Which of the following is most appropriate to you?

A. You have a website for your business that you would like us to work from.

What is the name of your Website?

B. You have a Facebook profile account but don’t have a Facebook Business Page.

You will have to tell us your Facebook username and password so we can initially build the

business page. We will inform you when we no longer need access to your account & you may

change your password if you wish.

C. You don’t have a Facebook profile account.

We will set up a Facebook business account for you. Which email address would you like us to

use to register your business profile on Facebook?

2. Basic Information of your Business Page:

We will choose the most appropriate category for your business. There are lots of different

categories and certain categories only allow you to add certain pieces of information.

A. Please choose a Category which best suits your business?

• Local Business or Place

• Company, Organisation or Institution

• Brand or Products

• Artist, Band or Public Figure

• Entertainment

• Cause or Community

Please note: The following options will vary according to the category you choose.

B. Please give us a few words to describe your business so we can fit it into the most appropriate

sub-category: e.g. Website, Books/Magazines, Public Figure, Product, Professional Service.

C. What would you like your Facebook Business Page URL to be? E.g.

www.facebook.com/YourBusiness

You may need to give a couple of options as your choice may already be taken by other business

pages.

Once a Facebook URL has been set and you reach 100 Likes (Fans) it cannot be changed.



D. If your chosen category allows us would you like to include a postal address, if so what is the

address?

E. Do you have a phone number & email contact that you would like to be included in the page

info? We recommend you include at least your email address so potential Customers can

contact you.

3. More Detailed Page Information:

A. What information would you like to include in the about section & if you have a website what

is the address you would like people to go to? E.g. Home page or product page. (The about

section should be no more than 50-60 words)

B. If your chosen category allows us to add a company overview what would you like it to say?

C. Would you like to include a description of your business, if so what would you like it to say?

D. If your chosen category allows us to add a mission statement what would you like it to say?

E. If you have a website and have products, would you like to include links to any of these

products? If so please provide us with the page links to the products.

You do not need to include all this information on your business page, just say which sections

you want to include. The more information you provide the more likely you will generate

business from your Facebook business page.

4. Name of Your Business page:

A. Do you have any ideas for the name of your business page? What name best represents your

business? (Choose a name that is not too generic and make it personal to your business.) We

recommend you pick your Brand name rather than your product name.

Once the page has 100+ Fans the business page name cannot be changed.

5. Profile Picture & Cover photo:

A. If you already have a profile picture & cover photo that you want adding to the business page

please attach to email.

B. If want us to create a profile picture & cover photo for you, do you have a colour scheme in

mind?

C. Do you have any images from your website like a company/business logo, If so please attach

in email. Alternatively we can usually lift these from your website.

D. What wording would you like to be displayed on your Business Page Cover Photo? It should

tell people what your business is about. Ideally if you have a strap line this is what we will use.



Please be aware Facebook do not allow the following on the cover photo: Offers & discounts,

website address &contact details, cannot use words ‘like this page’, ‘tell your friends’ etc. It

cannot be an advertisement in anyway.

Once we have this information we will make sure we have sufficient information, if anything is

unclear we will be in contact with you.

Our team will create the draft business page for your approval, if you wish to make changes this

is the time to highlight them.

The sooner we receive your completed questionnaire the sooner we can start work.

Twitter Page Creation.

The Twitter page can be created using the information provided above unless you wish us to

create a Twitter page for a different business, Brand or product.

Please tell us if it is going to be the same as above or different.

If it is different then we need to know the name, profile, website name and an image which best

represents what the Twitter page will be promoting.

If you already have a Twitter account you would like us to enhance, please provide the log in

details enabling us to make the necessary changes. Once complete you can always change the

password for your protection.

We will make every effort to match the Facebook and Twitter pages and where ever possible

match them to your website or other image you specify.

We cannot stress enough the importance of matching your different media to ensure your

Brand stands out where ever your target market find you.
