FULLER, DONALD “CAPTAIN DON” E., of Honolulu, died April 2, 1989. He was captain

Fuller, Horace, 81 he was one of the few survivors when his regiment hit the beach at

Guadalcanal in the South Pacific during World War II. Fuller was wounded and evacuated to the

United States. When he returned to duty, Fuller was assigned to the office of Strategic Services,

the forefunner to the CIA. He served in Southern France and was one of three men who

parachuted into the Pyrenees to assist French Resistance fighters against the Nazis in May 1944.
