• Develop and/or update regional communications plan• Verify regional contact information (telephone numbers. Personal

email addresses) [Reader note: All FAAMA members must have and should use personal email addresses to disseminate FAAMA information. The personal email strategy prevents allegations such as Hatch Act violations.]

• Conduct monthly/quarterly regional teleconferences with Chapter leaders.

• Forward FAAMA email broadcasts• Identify and email broadcasts of management updates (e.g.,

FedManager.com)

• Regional Business Plan

• Outlines Fiscal Year (FY) regional activities

• Projects planned travel and Chapter meeting support

• Manages regional recruitment activities

• Reader’s note: If a previous RD Business Plan is not available, contact the FAAMA National Secretary for a copy.

• BOD Meetings

• BOD meetings are used to conduct FAAMA business.

• BOD Meeting agendas are published in advance.

• BOD meetings use Robert’s Rules of Order to conduct business.

• A role call is conducted and a quorum of RDs (At least 5 of the 9) must be present to conduct FAAMA business.

• RDs must attend quarterly “face-to-face” BOD meetings.

• RDs must attend monthly and/or special BOD teleconferences.

• Reader’s note: RDs may select Associate RDs to assist them. Associate RD may attend BOD meeting and teleconferences and vote on behalf of the RD.
