Dear F.M. Day families,

It is with a heavy heart and mixed feelings that I write to inform you that I am leaving the won-derful F.M. Day community to accept a job promotion to become an upper level administrator for the Greeley Public School District.

I am so lucky to have had the privilege of meeting and working with so many of you over the past three years and it was a difficult decision. While I am excited that I have fulfilled a life-long goal and dream of mine, I am also extremely sad to say goodbye. For me, this school has been like a second home and the students, the community, and the families have been such a pleasure to work with.

Rest assured that as I finish the school year, my promise to you is that I will continue to work extremely hard for our students, our staff, and of course our amazing parents. I can assure you that the Westminster Public School District and the F.M. Day staff members will always put your students first no matter who sits in the Principal’s office. Our students are hard-working, capable learners, and you parents have always been so supportive, friendly, and caring. I will always cherish the time spent at this school learning with all of you!

The selection process for the new Principal is underway and our Westminster Public School Leaders are already working with our staff to initiate a collaborative process which will honor parent involvement in the selection. I trust that you will make the new Principal feel as wel-come as I did when I arrived at F.M. Day three years ago.

Thank you for allowing me to help educate your children and for treating me with so much re-spect. I will miss you all so much, but I promise to visit and check on everyone next year.

Queridas familias de F.M. Day,

Es con un corazón pesado y sentimientos encontrados que le escribo para informarle que me voy de la mara-villosa comunidad de F.M. Day. Acepte una promoción laboral de administración nivel superior en el Distri-to Escolar Publico de Greeley.

Tengo la suerte de haber tenido el privilegio de conocer y trabajar con muchos de ustedes en los últimos tres años y fue una decisión difícil. Si bien estoy entusiasmado de haber cumplido una meta y sueno de toda la vida, también estoy muy triste de decir adiós. Para mí, esta escuela ha sido como un segundo hogar. Los es-tudiantes, familias y comunidad han sido un placer. ??

Tenga la seguridad de que cuando termine el año escolar, mi promesa para usted es que continuare trabajan-do extremadamente duro para nuestros estudiantes, nuestro personal, y por supuesto nuestros maravillosos padres. Puedo asegurarle que el Distrito de Escuelas Públicas Westminster y el personal de F.M Day siem-pre pondrán a sus estudiantes primero sin importar quien se siente en la oficina del director. Nuestros alum-nos son estudiantes capaces capaces y trabajadores, y sus padres siempre han sido una buena ayuda. ¡Siempre apreciare el tiempo pasado en esta escuela aprendiendo con todos ustedes!

El proceso de selección para el nuevo director está en marcha y nuestros líderes de las escuelas públicas de Westminster ya están trabajando con nuestro personal para iniciar un proceso de colaboración que honrara la participación de los padres en la selección. Confió en que hará que el Nuevo director se sienta tan bienveni-do como lo hice cuando llegue a F.M. Day hace tres años.
