BeautiFul Stu (UK)Beautiful Stu combines lightning-fast improvisation with a frankly disrespectful lack of actual skill. Watch as he juggles charisma, a winning smile, and a record-breaking seven jokes, whilst balancing one-legged on your tolerance threshold! Stu came third in the world at the Street-Performing World Championships which was a massive achievement if you consider that all the other acts basically cheated by doing loads of really impressive tricks.

dadO (GERMANy)DADO is one of the best new Vaudevillians today; a consummate physical comedian, with a wonderful variety of slapstick comedy and audience participation mixed with improvisational mayhem. DADO presents a hypnotic array of original props and physical comedy, mixed with an incredible assortment of unusual instruments of eccentricity.

dJuGGledy: el diaBOlO (GERMANy)Kicking tunes and good vibes provide the background for an uplifting diabolo experience all the way from Berlin! DJuggledy presents his Show “El Diabolo”- a mix of entertainment, positive energy and high-level diabolo technique combined with original tricks. Mastering the stage with his spontaneous and extraordinary style, the ‘diabolo-express’ leaves his public laughing and clapping with their hearts in their mouths.

GaBez (JAPAN)Japanese dance duo, Gabez explode onto the streets combining electrifying acrobatic moves with silent improvisational comedy. This is not a show to be missed! Fun, funky and fast!

laS COSSaS NOStra (AUSTRALIA/SPAIN)Wannabe gangsters and Italian fashion victims Mia Mine and Mr Vita invite you to enter their bizarre and absurd world as they welcome you to ‘la family’. In a world filled with hairspray, fake gold and snake skin, this show mixes physical comedy and clowning with theatre and traditional circus elements. The show culminates in true grand finale style with the never seen before, comic delight – ‘the rubber ducky fountain!!

leS vitaMiNeS (CANADA)Les Vitaminés ([vitamin A] means full of vitamins) are a pair of comical acrobats who have made it their mission to dazzle people of all ages with their extraordinary technical abilities and burlesque-style staging. Their unique circus feats include acts such as a modern dance parody with exercise balls, a clown boxing match and a dynamic hand-to-hand performance. Their show features zany acrobatic feats punctuated by improvised acts during which the public is invited to join in the fun.

MS FlaMeS (ISRAEL)From small to big flames, Ms Flames, a solo female act, takes you on a journey using her original fire equipment and unique ways to create her mystic space through dance, theatre, juggling, music, costume and fire effects. Held in total darkness, the spectacle will reveal the essential beauty of the flames. Ms Flames is all set on fire and ready to conquer the public with her burning presence.

tallulah aNd the ladder OF MeN (CANADA) Sharon is your typical Canadian; friendly, polite, patriotic, apologetic and slightly repressed. Being an ambassador for such an exciting nation comes with its own strains. Every now and then, she is overcome by the feeling that there must be more to life. With a ‘little’ help from the audience, she revamps into her more uninhibited counterpart; the one, the only, Miss Tallulah! Join her on her hilarious travels through passion, acceptance and liberation.

the ChiPOlataS (UK)The Chipolatas return to Adelaide Fringe with their legendary street show, and celebrate their 21st year! From the UK, these multi-talented musical clowns combine music, theatre, dance and circus skills. Sit down and enjoy the show!

the dyiNG SwaN (AUSTRALIA)Judith Lanigan’s hula-hoop re-interpretation of the famous ballet divertissement The Dying Swan is a brilliant, essentially comic routine that dissolves into a blur of hoops and flying feathers. It’s an excellent adaptation of a classical theme with an intelligent wink from Down Under. An absurd and highly skilled show.

the heavy Metal MaGiCiaN (USA) The Heavy Metal Magician, Nigel Blackstorm has reconciled his two passions: heavy metal and magic. With the skills of an alchemist, he has blended heavy metal music and the world of magic to create the unique genre: “heavy magic”. Be prepared to have your mind blown, and ladies: please control yourselves.

yirrMal aNd the yOlNGu BOyS (AUSTRALIA)The yirrmal, Dion, Jerol and Seviro are young yolngu men from the Northeast Arnhem Land Communities of yirrkala and Gapuwiyak. They will perform a mixture of ‘Manikay’ Song cycles, some Arnhem Land pop covers and original songs that borrow heavily from the strong yolngu culture. In 2012 they won the Bell Ringer Award for best buskers at the Geelong ‘Streets Are Alive’ Festival, and that earned them a gig at The Adelaide Fringe Street Theatre Festival, 2013.
