Main Parameters of VEGA System
→ f : maximize collision frequency – electron storage
ring at high rep rate: f= f0*nb ≈ 35.7 MHz
→ σe,l : control source size – optimize size of e-beam
and laser waist
Preparations for User Access
Lasers System commissioned
•LBTS and Experimental Chambers, on schedule.
•Early experiments at 100 TW will start in Dec. 2019.
•Commissioning experiments were discussed within TDRs
and approved by ISAB.
•Proposals for Day 1 experiments were discussed within
1st Users workshop.
ELI-NP implemented by IFIN-HH – sustainability period according with EC Decision Various experimental set-ups made available to user’ access gradually depending on the readiness Transition period (till steady state): operated by ELI-NP
- service level agreement- access policy governed by ELI-ERIC- gradual integration
Open Access
• Technical and Scientific Description: rump up period 2019-2023, available gradually to the users
