Paul Wilson Tom Lau Shawn Owens

Paul, Tom, and Shawn were thrust into running the service business with the loss of an ASM in KC in early April, 2012. It is now July 2012, and together they have begun to make noticeable change in the expectations of our associates, the team leader role, the on call process, as well as run the day to day business differently, while working to ensure our customers are happy. During this same time, Paul had shoulder surgery, and even though in noticeable pain, he continued to work with Tom and Shawn to keep the KC Service business together. All three have been key assets to keeping the Service business flowing, and have ensured that the lack of one ASM has not been an excuse for the performance of the KC Service group. Their direct positive influence on the service business and their work as a team is representative of the teamwork and cooperation we look for in all of our associates.

Lori is an awesome coworker. She always has a positive attitude & rarely ever exhibits frustration, even though she is at times. If she makes a mistake, she readily admits it and immediately begins work to rectify what ever it is. She works diligently to fulfill the customers' needs & requests, as well as doing anything else that is needed. It is a pleasure working with her!

This team of Trane Service technicians work VERY well together for the betterment of Trane in the Topeka/ Kansas City /Springfield MO area. They take incredible care of their customers as well as take the strain off the Lenexa-based techs as needed, and even go assist in the Springfield area when asked to do so. These three gentlemen are to be commended as true team players that all districts & territories may look up to.

The KC Equipment Fulfillment team should be considered for the One Trane Aware for displaying teamwork by taking on additional responsibilities to assist the Omaha office while they are down a project manager. They have prepared submittals and Tom and George had to cover some of Josh's responsibilities while Josh spent a few days in Omaha assisting John in getting submittals and orders prepared for end of quarter in June. When asked to assist they all volunteered and did what needed to be done. This is truly a great representation of teamwork, not only within their own office but across the district. The positive attitudes that they have while having additional responsibilities encompasses the true meaning of "Team Work". They are a great example of Ingersoll Rand’s values.

Bringing together the Carthage Middle School project in such short notice. Michael found the project that was only posted in Joplin and Carthage local Papers. Rick made phone calls to the Superintendent of the school district, who in turn contacted the engineer to allow us to Bid the project, and Dan who put it all together, twice, working with the engineer. Before it was all over the engineer told the mechanical to work with Trane or the project would be put on hold until 2013.Winning this project puts us in line for 2 more schools being remodeled in 2013.

Jake Schanzmeyer Stacey McWilliams John Moore

I was working with Jake on a startup at the VA hospital. Jake runs off and gets married in the middle of the day. Shot gun wedding ? I don’t know. This is not my business I, not knowing he was gone , called and left a message for him. Stacey called me back a short time later and asks "how may I help you?" and did she ever help! John is a valuable resource for knowledge on these startups we have been doing. The three of these people are like talking to one. Very nice.

This team worked with a long time service agreement customer to supply both process and warehouse cooling. The team ressurected this job after the customer had turned down a $4MM PACT project. The team became the trusted advisor for the plant manager and helped find a solution for the plant. This job would not have gone without these three guys working as a team.

These two men display the true value of teamwork, have the best interest of the customer and Trane. They mentor other technicians and they go beyond their job description to take care of their responsibilites and job duties.

David Ommen Dennis Paulsen

David after 2 days on the road made the effort to continue on the road, well past the expected time, to pick up 2 water cooled rentals to assist me(Dennis) in satisfying a GREAT customer's needs as I was out of town myself on pick ups and hours away. I then took his parts and the rentals to the customer. David made the extra effort to be solution based and put literally went the extra miles. He has show commitment and patience in acclimating me to the rental business. Dave represents "One Trane" as he is Parts and did not let the fact that it was a rental need delay his action. Dave is Trane and what Trane strives to be.

They landed the Carthage Schools controls project. Michael found the job out for bid - that no one had heard about and got the word out; Rick took the initiative to go out and talk with the customer and encourage them to go with Trane, Dan jumped on it and worked up the quote for the customer in a very short time frame. They all worked very well together to get Trane on the job!!!

Green Team Community Work: Neale Woods Nature Center Clean-up. Our community events promote an opportunity for teamwork and a chance to get to know fellow associates on a more personal level.

Carthage Schools bid a controls only job via plan and spec. Rick Baldwin was able to have the school delay the bid to give us more time and at the end he was able to get the schools superintendent to force the contractors use Trane. Dan Ketelle had to put a rush job together and after the bid we were 80k high. He was able to negotiate w/engineer and owner for a different bill of material and was able to get our pricing in line to make the job a go. Together they were able to take an 80k high plan and spec job and get Trane a 135K PO in a weeks time.

Waverly Schools PACT The team exemplifies employees who puts others first. They understand and apply the values of Trane and Ingersoll Rand, and in spite of a tough job scenario continues to deliver results while we're shorthanded. Through this all the team maintains a great attitude and inspires others to do well. To get the job done on time and on budget.

Chad has lead a very young Indirect team in Tulsa with results exceeding budget. He is recognized by associates and customers as the "expert" on Trane products and systems. Chad has exhibited his gift to mentor and is well respected by his peers.

While visiting some good friends of the family, I had remembered that in a previous leadership team meeting that we had done some work with the Enersys Plant in Warrensburg, MO. My neighbor Mr. John Staples is the Engineering Maintenance Manager at the plant and I asked him about our recent work out there and his thoughts on how it went. Mr. Staples raved about Trane and the group that he deals with. He mentioned the technicians who come out there do a great job, but one stuck out...John Howen. Mr. Staples went on and on about John's skills and his continued efforts to go above and beyond and not only fix the problem at hand but to find the source of the problem. Enersys is planning on doing a lot more work with Trane and he credits the hard work of all of the technicians (John Howen, Chris Pollock and Mike Wade) for the additional work they are coming to Trane for! Great Job!!!

Jeremy has done an outstanding job in promoting and assisting in the development of the NC3 Initiative at Washburn Technical School in Topeka. Jeremy has leant his expertise in guiding the school in the development of a Commerce Grant to fund the Trane lab being proposed at Washburn Tech. The Trane lab will help train and instruct students throughout the region on the latest Trane Control Technology. The learning lab will position Trane as a technical education learning partner for decades in Kansas/Nebraska/Missouri. Jeremy’s efforts and shared know how is very deserving of the Honors Award.

Phillip has really demonstrated one of our core values of taking ownership on the UCM Morrow Garrison Building. There have been numerous problems with the job but Phillip has stayed actively engaged offering suggestions and making improvements while exhibiting a positive attitude.

Jeff continues to accept and embrace more responsibilities outside his engineering role with TRANE. During the recent transition from me being a PM, Jeff stepped up and assume the load of PM for two projects, Park Hill Elementary and Superior Toyota. He coordinated work attended meetings and managed customer expectations as if he had been handling this role for years. His attitude toward this opportunity was top notch. His interaction with the customers and owners were very productive and positive and lead to positive feedback. We are in the process of pursuing additional work with the Park Hill School District and Hendrick Motors and his work on these projects will no doubt put TRANE in a good standing for strong consideration. Jeff is a true asset to our team and TRANE.

Stephanie saw a need for a better welcoming process for our new associates and took the lead on developing a program to help make our new associates feel welcome. She organized a team of managers to get their feedback on what the process should look like. Within the meeting she took ownership of the process and stepped up as the leader to ensure welcome packets were made, a new associate questionnaire was created, welcome signs were made, and the new process was communicated to leadership. Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure Trane Mid-America is the best place to work and she is truly deserving of this award!

Justin spends his evenings and weekends reading IOM's and studying on IRU. In less than 2 years Justin has gone from a Helper to one of my lead technicians willing and able to work on any piece of equipment. Most recently he volunteered to travel to Omaha and help their service dept. get caught up.

I nominate Matt Mieir, in Tulsa, for being a mentor to Jeremy Clifford. On a current project a customer had a chiller failure and needed a total overhaul. We had to bring in a rental chiller and bid the overhaul. Jeremy is new to the sales department and Matt spent extra time and effort to train Jeremy. We got the job and it is in progress. Good job Matt.

Kaylinn Nienhauser informed me that the past several weeks she has been at 3 different customer sites that Terry King services. Without asking each facility complimented Terry on his outstanding attention to detail and his concern of taking care of them. They each felt the special attention and care Terry gives them. Kaylinn noted in each case there were new opportunities for her to easily present as a result of Terry's efforts. It is not always on big thing someone does it is the consistent day to day attention given to the customer that solidifies that trust. Faith Regional, NE Community College, and Odd Fellows were the 3 customers. Great job Terry.

Brad Reischman is a tremendous asset to Trane and for our customers. Lately Brad has stepped up to the plate and delivered on a couple big jobs. One being, two one thousand ton CTV chiller dis-assemblies and installed in a 18 story penthouse at AT&T 19th Oak. Another big job Brad completed and showed great leadership on was Spencer Library at KU. Brad also brings it everyday with a great attitude, integrity, and it rubs off on his co-workers.

Dennis Yancey is a great representative for our company. Dennis always is willing to support our customers any time of the day and team with associates to solve customer issues. Throughout the changes to the District during the 1st half of the year, Dennis has helped make sure that associates were not left with a gap in service and responded to all requests. Dennis has support the new addition of the rental services in Omaha and taught selflessly.

Jacob day in and day out delivers on his commitments. With all of the distractions in his work area, he is able to screen it out and focus on getting his work done with high quality and efficiency. I also want to give him Kudos for developing the Omaha Contracting Sharepoint site. With no prior training, Jacob took it upon himself to do the research and put together a very professional looking site that will help the entire Team.

David deserves to be nominated for several reasons... First and foremost is his dedication to our customers and what they mean to us as a whole. David ALWAYS goes above and beyond for our customers and for the team. The past several weeks, with vacations and the departure of Andy, David has stepped up to take his role to the phones and become an Inside Sales Associate during the busy crunch time we are currently experiencing. In addition, he has helped guide Denny Paulsen, our new Omaha Portable Cooling Specialists, in the right direction and mentor him in some of the processes. David is without a doubt my most valuable associate and I'm proud he works on my team in parts!

Adam is deserving of the honors award for all that he does for Trane. He lives our values daily. He doesn’t have to work at it. Our values are his values inherently. He exists in and attempts to create a culture of success. I have never once sensed any pessimism from him about work on a project or working with a fellow associate. I don't believe the words "no" or "I can't do that" are in his vocabulary. He delivers strong on his word and fulfills obligations with his customers on time through detailed and timely communication and genuine care for the customers, both internal and external, needs. A sincere problem solver and supportive team member.

Matt has stepped up to be a leader and mentor to the Direct account managers in both Tulsa and OKC. The account managers in both offices look to Matt for guidance with the process issues for Direct Sales. Matt is the TIS champion for the state as well. Matt has done all of this with no official team leader title.

Karl takes ownership of jobs and builds relationships with the customers. I have found that the customers puts their full trust in Karl and want him back to their site time and again.

I have never met a customer who did not have positive thing to say about John. How John represents Trane, how he addressed the customers concern and typically identified other problems that needed to be addressed while on site, and how he handles the needs of his core customers as a priority. He is responsible for the care of our major automation service customers, such as St. Joseph Hospital and American Century, and my input from both facilities is glowing on John’s performance, reliability, and trust in his ability to resolve any issue. Trane is fortunate to have an employee like John Howen and the customer confidence he builds with all of his customers.

Todd is diligently working internally with our sales, equipment fulfillment, and our services teams to communicate Trane construction schedules and equipment shipment schedules to our customer St. Joesph Schools. With moving equipment shipping schedule to has proactively adjust his manpower schedule in order to deliver the project to our customer on time. Todd has represented Trane well during the project construction meetings and has maintained the customer trust and confidence with Trane on the project

Larry works with the highest integrity to always do what is not only in the best interest of Trane, but for what is right for our customers. His help providing service and diligence on units at YMCA helped strengthen the Trane reputation, helped the customer get a unit running that had been down for months, and helped the sales team put together a report, plan, and set of proposals to help the customer return their units to proper performance and condition. Larry does this consistently, turning in numerous leads, and being one of the best at communicating opportunities with the sales team to grow business. He's a true leader.

Todd is the PM for the St Joseph School District project. This project was awarded with VERY tight timeline and was going to require a strong plan and vision to complete. Todd has embraced this and is leading the project with a plan and vision to place TRANE in a great position to meet the project timeline. This has been no small feet as he is working with delays associated with our equipment delivery; however, he has remained engaged and has driven the controls installation to a point of preparedness once the equipment and installing contractor are ready. He has adjusted his plan to move work forward which would potentially be later in the project so we reduce the time needed to be functional upon start up. His attention to detail has ensured he demonstrates to the project team TRANE is a capable partner now and for future projects. Todd is leading the way for TRANE's next opportunity and exhibiting the reason why TRANE is the best place to buy and invest.

Steve has taken the call to Lead out Front and has run with it. He led the effort to reconfigure the Omaha TPC to be more customer centered and stepped up to take a very active role at the counter in the daily activity of the store to help improve the experience for our customers.

Greg was committed and courageous in handling a Chiller repair with KU. Greg addressed the situation immediately with both KU and the factory allowing for the fastest possible resolution. Additionally, he was persisitent in his communication with the customer to help KU understand the nature of the Chiller failure and where KU was responsible for the repair cost.
