By identifying key strategic areas for future success and establishingCompetency Centres to develop and embed them into enterprise capabilities, we will ensure ongoing relevance and world-class technology leadership to provide AZIT with the competitive advantage
Providing Enterprise Leadership to understand the pain points of the business and to ensure that proposed technology changes are unified and governed to maximize business value as AZIT develop corporate systems, workflows and technology choices
Rapid, innovative teams that test new technologies and accelerate platforms in Technology Labs to build internal expertise and hands-on experience of potential game-changing technologies whilst focusing on immediate business problems
Today the CTO Office has presence in San Francisco, Cambridge and Shanghai. Geographical presence in these key technology clusters gives an early view of emerging technologies, companies and start-ups in relevant areas, whilst helping us establish relationships with key stakeholders and investors in these innovation hubs.

CTO Office: Strategically Placed - Global Reach
San Francisco is today’s Innovation Capital of the World and our tech lab will facilitate links with innovative research start-ups, venture capitalists and global technology leaders. With access to world class talent, highly entrepreneurial culture and numerous technological advancements, the San Francisco office will provide new opportunities at the forefront of healthcare digital innovation.
Cambridge is one of the most dynamic technology and business clusters in the world and our tech lab is integrated into this unique innovation ecosystem—we are surrounded by 19 science parks with over 1,500 high-tech companies. From life sciences, engineering and computer science, Cambridge also boasts world class academic institutions at the bleeding edge of scientific research.
Shanghai is emerging as a top city for tech innovation internationally and is predicted to become the global technology centre within four years—this ecosystem dominated recently in scientific research & development, nanotechnology and robotics. Our technology lab will tap into the increasing momentum to establish relationships with local technology leaders.
The new CTO Office established this year and has made significant progress in uplifting technology innovation. Our process has three phases:

Search: MBaaS extensions for Search based Apps
Approvals: A mobile app that can action outstanding approvals by integrating data from multiple legacy systems. Future integrations are handled at the connector layer leveraging a defined data model for field mappings.
Approve directly from the app to further reduce the need to access multiple systems.
