Testimonials “I was able to go to EXPOSURE last year for the first time. I was so cool for me to see how many girls are coming up in the skate world and know that things like this will secure a future for my daughters if they choose to skate like me! It’s a beautiful thing to see girls pushing the sport and some doing it while in a tutu!” - Lyn-Z Adams-Hawkins Pastrana, Professional Skateboarder from Cardiff.
"EXPOSURE is the most significant women’s skate event on the pro calendar. With the growing number of girls taking up vert and street skating—and not just longboarding—the importance of this annual ‘state-of-women's-skate' continues to grow.” - Miki Vuckovich - Director, Tony Hawk Foundation
“The awareness brought by EXPOSURE has an inestimable value and creates a community-wide change in attitude. EXPOSURE reminds us all that domestic violence is an issue that we all need to eliminate together. Encinitas is a vibrant community, eager to learn and improve at every turn. EXPOSURE adds another layer to its community intelligence and quality of life by bringing a life-saving message through the world of skateboarding.” - Suzanne Colby - Director of Resource Development SAY San Diego , Inc.
“EXPOSURE is a wholesome family event, providing the opportunity for
female skaters to shine!”- Marilee Gorham, City of Encinitas
Recreation Superintendent
