Exporting/Importing Blog Data

Exporting - Step 1

Log in to your edublogs dashboard and click on the ‘Tools’ icon.

In the dropdown menu, select ‘Export’

Click on the ‘Download Export File’ icon

In the pop up window, click on ‘Save’

Choose where you want to save the file to and select ‘Save’

Once the download has been completed, you can close this window
Importing – Step 1
Log in to your new primaryblogger blog dashboard and click on the ‘Tools’ icon
Importing – Step 2
In the dropdown menu, select ‘Import’
Importing – Step 3
In the next window, choose the ‘Wordpress’ option
Importing – Step 4
Browse for your file and then ‘Upload and Import’

The example blog shown here has two authors.
Tick the ‘Import Attachments’ box
Select ‘Submit’

A window will appear to show the Import progress

Scroll down to the bottom of the window until you see the ‘All done’ message. Click on the ‘Have fun’ link

Your blog will have the default theme.
You’ll also notice a ‘Welcome Post’

Scroll down and choose the ‘Site Admin’ option
Importing – Step 10
Tick the ‘Super Bananas’ post and choose delete in the ‘Bulk Actions’ option, then select ‘Apply’.
