Exporting and printing from Illustrator

1. Export as a jpeg a. File > Export > Export As…

b. c. Save as type: Jpeg BE SURE TO CHECK “Use Artboards”

d. e. Change Quality to 10, Change Resolution to “High (300ppi)

f. g. Hit OK

JPEG IS NOW READY TO UPLOAD TO YOUR WEBSITE

TO PRINT FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS:

1. If you have not loaded the printer follow the below steps first. If you have uploaded the printer skip to the next section

2. Go to search bar that says “Type here to search” (bottom left corner) a. Type in: \\printers-ch and press enter

3. Search for ch-workroom-color-right and double click a.

b. c. In the window that pops up click Printer > Printing Preferences…

d.

e. You should get the below pop up. Change to 1 sided printing and uncheck “xerox black and white conversion” Click Apply then OK

NOW YOU ARE READY TO PRINT:

1. Find your image in File Explorer a. Right click on the image and choose Print

b. c. You will get the below screen. Select the right printer. Uncheck “Fit picture to frame”

d. e. Hit Print

i. (If you are unsure if you are printing in color click Options >Printing preference)

2. If you printed in color it will prompt you to the below screen. Click “yes”. a. If it doesn’t prompt you, you didn’t print in color.
