SILENT CONFESSION
ASSURANCE OF PARDON | 1 Peter 2:22-24
[Jesus] committed no sin, neither was deceit found in his mouth. When he was reviled, he did not revile in return; when he suffered, he did not threaten, but continued entrusting himself to him who judges justly. He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

THE LORD’S SUPPER | See comments below We come forward by row to receive the elements. Wine is found in red cups (outer ring), grape juice in clear cups (inside rings). Gluten free wafers are available in both serving lines. If you are unable to come forward, please notify the server walking around with the elements. You are welcome to participate in the Lord’s Supper if you are a baptized Christian and a member of an evangelical church. If this does not describe you, we encourage you to spend this time in prayer to consider your relationship to Jesus Christ. We also ask that children who have not yet publicly professed their faith in Christ refrain from partaking until doing so. The Lord’s Supper is a time for our faith to be strengthened and our hope renewed.

ADULT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
The Poetic Artistry of the Bible
“All Scripture is God-breathed.” So says the Apostle Paul to his young protege in 2 Tim 3.16. One of the most powerful and prominent ways the Lord chose to “breathe out” his Word is through poetry. And yet, many of us experience the Bible’s poetry with uneasiness rather than delight. Come join us as we take a guided tour of the Bible’s poetry, reading and
discussing together Leland Ryken’s book Sweeter than Honey, Richer than Gold. Meeting on Wednesday evenings (June 9, 23; July 7, 21; August 4, 18; and
September 1) at 7:00 pm in the CTK Gathering Area. Led by Tobias Riggs. For more information and to
secure a book, contact Staci Otto.
