zone.”• Innovations in economic structure including growing development of
collectives.• Cuba’s response to the effects of global climate change.• The Martin Luther King Center, a vibrant hub for community education
and faith.• Old Havana, rural Cuba, and more!
Witness for Peace is a solidarity organization that supports peace, justice, and sustainable economies in the Americas by
changing U.S. policies and corporate practices that contribute to poverty and oppression in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Cuba is an island that’s home to 11 million people and more animal and plant species than anywhere else in the Caribbean! Added to environmental riches are cultural riches, such as universal literacy, free and effective healthcare, popular access to art and culture, and urban and rural sustainable agriculture.
Cost: $1,900 + airfareDelegation fee covers all meals, lodging, interpreters, and transportation within Cuba, along with extensive reading and activist tools.
