Explorer T tractors are equipped with SAME’s Series 1000, Euro II, 4 cylinder, 4,000 cc, liquid cooled engines, in naturally aspirated or turbo form. These robust, powerful and reliable engines are designed to carry on working tirelessly for thousands of hours, and guarantee low running costs and extremely limited maintenance.

Thanks to technical solutions like a high pressure injection system (1,100 bar), Explorer T engines deliver exceptional fl exibility and torque while keeping exhaust emissions well below Euro II levels. The high structural rigidity of the cylinder block and the special form of the combustion chambers also ensure low fuel and oil consumption.

The engine cooling system uses a “triple fl ow” anti-blockage radiator and an oversized cooling fan to ensure that engine temperature remains optimal even in the hottest working conditions.

Multi-purpose transmission: made to last and simple to useThanks to the great versatility and reliability of their transmission systems, Explorer T tractors are real all-rounders, and can tackle an amazing variety of jobs with ease.Open fi eld work, tillage, harvesting, transplanting, and even ditch digging are no longer a problem. The SyncroPower gearbox gives you 40 forward and reverse gears, to turn any job into a piece of cake. Just press the buttons on the gear lever for clutchless power shifting from one gear to another. In the creeper range, the Explorer T can work at speeds as slow as 360 m/h.On the road, the 5 speed gearbox lets you reach 40 km/h to keep transport and transfer times down to a minimum. Everything the Explorer T does, it does in maximum active and passive safety, thanks to an all-wheel braking system with oil-bath disc brakes on all four wheels and a robust, 2 or 4 upright safety frame. Demanding customers can fi t rear mudguard extensions and polycarbonate splash-guards (on the front of the platform) to protect the driver from mud and dirt thrown up during fast transfers.

Thanks to a wide range of P.T.O. speeds (540/540ECO/1000/1000ECO) Explorer T tractors are ideal for a whole range of applications from open fi eld to farmyard work, covering tasks as different as tillage, hay making, irrigation and crop spraying. The economy P.T.O. enables you to use exactly the engine power you need, keeping revs down, saving on fuel, and reducing emissions. The synchronised, independent shaft P.T.O. gives you even greater versatility in transport

applications, and lets you use driven axle implements for harvesting and spreading.And this is not all. The SAME Explorer T’s versatility and multi-functionality also extends to operations involving the lift and hydraulics. In conjunction with the solidity of its three point linkage, the Explorer T’s great structural strength permits an amazing lifting capacity of 4700 kg with supplementary cylinders fi tted, allowing you to use the heaviest implements for this class of tractor. And depth, draft and mixed implement control

enables mounted implements to be handled with ease and precision.A hydraulic system with a 54 l/min pump and 6-way auxiliary control valves completes the Explorer T’s working equipment. The hydrostatic steering system is equipped with its own independent pump to ensure longer working life and greater reliability from the main hydraulic circuit, and to keep steering light, smooth and fully functional even at low engine speeds.
