Opportunities that CLLD brings to the territorial development
4. Upgrading services in the area, developing local entrepreneurship
"Mistral" — a cafeteria and sweets factory using Omega 3 acids from fish is a way to generate additional income for a fisherman and his family, and to contribute to the tourist attractiveness of the fishing port in Ustka. The cafe shop offers a new quality—own unique product, interesting interior design, own publications, e.g. the legend of Mistral the fisherman (comics).

Słowiński Fisheries Trail — dialogue and collaboration across three sectors
The Trail partners are 14 entities representing three sectors related to the fishery background of the area, but also to culture and tourism. Together we are creating a tourist product based on culture, traditions and local fishing resources. In this season tourists learnt about our offer from a handout describing attractions to be found on the Trail. Next season, we are launching comprehensive tourist packs.

generating added value

on local resources)
Supporting partnership solutions —

(local) community and
harmonising various interests
(residents, entrepreneurs
etc.)
Promoting the local
community's responsibility for
area development and
creating fundamentals for
further local development
after 2020
Accounting for the needs of
natural environment in
strategic planning and using natural
resources

CLLD in the new period in Poland
The CLLD approach in Poland will be financed with resources from EAFRD and EFF. Out of 16 regions only 3 made the decision to finance CLLD within ERDF and ESF.

O NAS Słowinska Fishery Group
Our experience
Things that work: • Advance payments up to 100% • Open scope of projects in the national
guidelines • Support for the maritime fishing sector, greatly
disadvantaged by EU reforms Things that need improvement: • Promoting the CLLD approach among officials
responsible for programming development with the use of ERDF and ESF.
• Introducing incentives for the application of CLLD or defining minimum threshold of ESF and ERDF allocation
