You’ll have little trouble getting your limit as Walleye, Perch, Whitefish and the great northern Pike are plentiful. Make sure to bring your camera as you are guaranteed to see plenty of wildlife. Away from heavy traffic, and the chaos of our everyday lives, peace and quiet is guaranteed. Let the sounds of nature induce relaxation. Our cabins are located on a beautiful bluff overlooking the clear waters of Cameron Lake. Admire a beautiful sunset or catch the brilliant northern lights. We have 6 cabins available for you to choose from. Our cabins are equipped with electric lights, refrigerators, stoves, all your kitchen needs, indoor toilets, cold running water and are heated with fuel oil. Our cabins accommodate between 4-8 people. And enjoy the comforts of home in our spacious 12 x 16 hot-water shower house. Packages include; your cabin and one boat for every 2 adults, A 15hp Honda outboard motor, a fish finder, a minnow bucket, a net, 2 swivel boat seats and your gas for the week. (or see rate insert sheet) For your convenience, we’ve built a screened-in waterfront fish cleaning station, with ample lighting, running water and stainless steel counter-tops. On a beautiful summer day you can take advantage of the safe and sandy beach that fronts the cabins. Play a game of horseshoes or Washers. Gather together for a fish fry/or BBQ – as we have several available at no extra cost. Extra boats and motors can be rented for a reasonable fee. Live bait, ice, and tackle are also available.

Cameron Lake Fishing Lodges is situated on beautiful Cameron Lake 14 miles by way of water from Oba, Ontario.

In unspoiled wilderness and inaccessible by car, Cameron Lake is about 200 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie and approximately 80 miles south of Hearst, Ontario.

Your trip will be a combination of car, rail and boat. From Sault Ste. Marie, take Highway 17 North to Hawk Junction (Near Wawa, Ont.). You will then travel 80 miles north by Algoma Central Railway (800-242-9287).

We will meet you at the train and transport you by truck to our boat launch. You will be guided by boat down the Oba River 14 miles to Cameron Lake. You canpurchase your Canadian fishing license in Sault Ste. Marie or Wawa.
