MEDIUM- AND HEAVY-DUTYWRECKERS

All equipment capacities specified are based on structural capacity only and comply with SAE J2512 and SAE J706 Recommended Practices. All measurements and capacities are nominal values.

All outside frame rails extending behind the cab of the chassis must be free of all air tanks, battery boxes, fuel tanks, etc.

The payload and towing capacity of any towing vehicle must meet the following:- The actual payload on the towing vehicle must not exceed the posted rating and,

if applicable, the towed vehicle load must not exceed the posted lift / towing ratings.- The total weight of the towing vehicle (cab chassis, body, payload, driver, passenger(s), tools,

fuel, etc.) and, if applicable, the towed vehicle load must not exceed the GVWR(Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) of the towing vehicle.

- The total weight of the towing vehicle and, if applicable, the towed vehicle load must be distributedso that each axle’s GAWR (Gross Axle Weight Rating) is not exceeded.

- The total weight of the towing vehicle and towed vehicle (everything that moves with the towingvehicle) must not exceed the GCWR (Gross Combination Weight Rating) of the towing vehicle.

Staying within these ratings is necessary to maintain the safety and performance of the towing vehicle.Jerr-Dan’s authorized sales representatives are available to assist if needed.

Manufactured under one or more of the following patents: 5,672,042; 5,697,741; 5,713,714; 5,782,596 and 5,839,775 with other Patents Pending.

EXPERIENCE THE SUPERIOR PERFORMANCE OF THE INDUSTRY'STOUGHEST, MOST RELIABLE WRECKERS.

Medium- and Heavy-Duty Wreckers

IT’S SIMPLE — Jerr-Dan medium- and heavy-dutywreckers perform better because they’re made better.Using patented technologies and uncompromisingmethods, Jerr-Dan creates the most versatile, reliablewreckers in the industry. What that means for you isexceptional safety features and an easy-to-use, long-lasting truck that you can count on to work as long andhard as you do.

What sets Jerr-Dan wreckers apart:

• High-performance, weatherproof electrical systemshelp provide reliable service—day in and day out

• Underreach and boom are mounted to the chassissubframe for outstanding stability and longer lifebecause forces are transferred away from the body, reducing wear

• Dual, 2-speed winches spool at 120 feet per minute, three times faster than most

• Some of the longest underlifts in their class

Composite BodyUsing aerospace and automotive technologies,

Jerr-Dan developed one of the first composite bodies

in the industry, making medium- and heavy-duty

wrecker bodies truly lightweight.

Don’t let the good looks fool you; these trucks are tough. Usingaerospace and automotive technologies, Jerr-Dan createscorrosion-resistant and stress-free composite bodies withbonded aluminum substructures and composite doors andpanels. The composite body panels are more impact-resistantthan steel, aluminum and stainless. Plus, repair costs are afraction of competitive models.

Speaking of good looks, Jerr-Dan’s conveyor system componentpaint process ensures full coverage of all components prior toassembly. Plus, a conversion wash removes oils and preventsmarks and blemishes on the long-lasting finished product. Allcomponents are assembled only after they are cured. Notechnique matches the precision consistency of laser cuttingtechnology. It achieves a perfect fit every time. Laser cuttingalso avoids metal distortion created by excessive heat, thereforeretaining the full strength of the material.

Steel is shot-blasted, creating a smoother surface, which allowsfor better weld penetrations and a superior paint finish.

Jerr-Dan performs all frame alterations in-house, assuring proper yieldsof material have been used and required RBMs have been met.

Superior Design, Testing and Manufacturing

Run HardRun hard. Jerr-Dan vehicles can take it. Durable.

Reliable. Performing beyond expectations, no matter

what the conditions. For over 30 years, Jerr-Dan has

redefined the towing industry with uncompromising

quality, production and delivery. Whatever you dish out,

Jerr-Dan medium- and heavy-duty wreckers can take it.
