Foundation settlement and movement can be caused by building on expansive clay, compressible or improperly compacted fill soils, or improper maintenance around foundations. Whatever the cause, settlement can destroy the value of structures and render them unsafe.

Properly installed, ATLAS RESISTANCE® Piers can prevent settlement, stabilize foundations, and restore settled structures nearly to their original positions, often closing structural defects such as cracks and deformities caused by the settlement. Once the resistance pier is then connected to the bracket, adjustments with hand-held equipment will be made to lift and stabilize your home.

A certified CHANCE® Installer will inspect the condition of your home’s foundation.

The ATLAS resistance piers are then hydraulically pushed into the stable subsoil until the prescribed depth is reached.
