If you look at the skyline of Regina, you can’t help but notice the dome of the Legislative Building. The beaux-arts design is reminiscent of the famed palace of Versailles. Built between 1908 and 1912 when Saskatchewan had just become a province, it is one of Saskatchewan’s greatest treasures.

Built with a Tyndall stone exterior and 34 types of marble from around the world on its interior it is an impressive achievement. The rotunda is ornate, with three-story high marble columns; you just can’t stop looking up!
