Celebrating 53 years of protecting private property rights and promoting conservation through commerce

The Exotic Wildlife Association is celebrating its 53rd Anniversary as one of the oldest private

property rights associations in the country. Please join us February 27th - March 1st in Boerne, Texas

at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort.

We will begin the activities on Thursday morning with a golf tournament at Tapatio Springs,

Friday afternoon we will have seminars with the leading experts in the industry. Join us Friday even-

ing for Dinner, Entertainment and Casino Night wrapping up the activities

One of the most important events of the weekend is the Annual Membership Meeting and elec-

tion of Directors on Saturday morning. This year’s slate of candidates come from very diverse back-

grounds and offer the expertise necessary to move this association in a very positive direction. Your

Association’s Directors set the policy and procedures for this organization and have made the EWA

one of the top associations in the nation.

Saturday afternoon’s Annual Video Auction is the premier exotic animal auction in the coun-

try. This year’s 18th Annual Auction will be offering some of the finest non-native hoofstock consign-

ments to be found anywhere. This is an excellent opportunity to stock a new ranch or sell some of

your excess stock. Please contact Vic Jones (830-279-5822), our Auction Committee Chairman or the

EWA office with your consignments (Consignment Forms enclosed). Saturday evening will conclude

with dinner, the special awards ceremony and grand auction.

EWA Exhibitor Rules and Regulations February 27 - March 1, 2020

EWA reserves the right to prohibit any Exhibitor, Exhibit or proposed Exhibit, which, in EWA’s opinion, is not suitable for our event or is in con-flict with an existing exhibitor. In the event that two exhibitors are merchandising same or similar products, EWA reserves the right to limit this type of exhibit to the first exhibitor registered.

EWA reserves the right to adjust or make changes in booth assignments, up to and including the date of move in, to ensure an even traffic flow.

Each Exhibit Booth will include one 8’ x 30” table. No Exhibit shall be allowed to project into the aisle beyond the assigned space.

Setup and Teardown – Move in will be Thursday, February 27th from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Exhibits open at 10:00 a.m. on Friday and 8:00 a .m . on Saturday. Move out is Sunday, March 1st from 8:00 a.m. until noon.

The Exotic Wildlife must approve all donations in lieu of booth fee by February 12, 2020. This option exists for a limited number of exhibi-

tors. Electrical service will be available to a limited number of exhibitor spaces on a “first come first served” basis. Exhibitors must protect machinery and exhibits in such a way as to ensure that no injury will result to the public, visitors, guests, employees, or any

other person or property. Exhibitors agree to protect and hold harmless the Exotic Wildlife Association and its officers, directors, and em-ployees from any and all persons or actions which may result in injury, loss or damage sustained upon the space occupied by the exhibitors respectively, or on account of machinery and property under the control of such exhibitors or on account of negligence of exhibitors, their representatives, employees or agents.

Affixing anything to the walls, doors, floors, or ceiling of function rooms is NOT permitted. All Exhibitors, their agents or employees shall be

responsible for any injury or defacing of the ceiling, walls or floors of the building. Boxes (must be labeled Box 1 of 2, Box 2 of 2, etc.) or Exhibit booths may be shipped to Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort 3 days prior to the event and shipped to:

Neither the Exotic Wildlife Association nor the management of the hotel will be responsible for any injury which may occur to an exhibitor or its

representative or employees, nor for the safety of any exhibit or other property against robbery, fire, accident or any other destructive cause. EWA will provide a uniformed officer in the exhibit areas from 8:00 a.m. on Friday until noon Sunday. EWA assumes no responsi-bility for missing merchandise or accidents of any kind. Insurance, if desired, shall be taken out by the exhibitor, who hereby agrees to hold Exotic Wildlife Association harmless and free from all damages or liabilities of any kind.

The exhibitor assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of the exhibitor’s activities on the premis-

es of the Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne, Texas and will indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Hotel, its agents, servants and employees from any and all such losses, damages and claims. Exotic Wildlife Association will be responsible to negotiate the contract with its exhibitors.
