Updating your myRECA account

Existing learners, industry professionals and accountants with an RW-, AW-, MW- or AC-number must click Update my account once. This process creates a username and password for the new myRECA.

Enter your RECA ID (RW-, MW-, or AW- number). If you forget yours, click on Forgot RECA ID

When the system finds your RECA ID, it sends instructions to the email on file with that ID. The instructions include a link you must click on to validate your identity and create your new account.

Create a username and password. Brokers use your username to manage you within their brokerage, so please make sure your username is professional.

When you click on the link in the email, you start the process to create a username for the new myRECA. It begins with confirming your name and email.

Choose three security questions and give answers. These are used to confirm your identity if you forget your password.

Enter the captcha.

Read the Terms of Use and personal information consent carefully. Accept the Terms by clicking the check box.

You now have a new myRECA account. Use your username and password to log in. You will receive an email with your username and instructions for your first time logging in.
