For this 13th edition, the Photaumnales festival - organised by Diaphane, photographic centre in Picardy - is organised around the themes of invitations and exchanges.
In a world of tensions, where the trend towards enclosure is increasingly widespread, we have decided to focus on openness to others, while emphasising how essential the view of the artist is in constructing a world of tolerance.
Fred Boucher and adriana Wattel, artistic Co-Directors
BEAUVAIS - QUAdRIlATèRE GAllERY

ExhIBITION lOVE STORIES Paul ardenne Invited Curator and Barbara Polla, associate Curator
This 2016 edition of the Photaumnales, coming under the sign of love, aims to be generous. Just as love nourishes and exalts us, the narrative background of the various sections of “love stories” are both nourishing and exalting. For this occasion, photography brings together multiple amorous tales, a great diversity of “love stories”. Not that there is anything abnormal about that: love, it is said, shoots his arrows in every direction...
