The first thing to do is to clean up the screen. The Easy Access Menu contains a lot ofvarious controls on top of each other. Our goal is to remove all of them since we want tostart from a clean slate. There is a difference between hiding and deleting. If it’s astandard control in the underlying transaction, you can never delete it, but you canalways hide it. Custom objects we place onto the screen can be deleted.The editor window’s upper right corner will always show the element that’s currentlyselected.

Assign Image to Background 

Make sure you select the User Area control when you assignn a background image. Youknow you have hidden all the layers when you see GuiUserArea in the upper rightcorner. If you assign the image to one of the other controls, you may get a problem lateron with other elements overlapping your background image or some other unwantedeffect.

Format the Buttons 

(1) Hold the CTRL Key and select all the Buttons. In the size fields make all the Buttons 200 in width and45 in Height.

(2) Move the buttons apart and use the Align Objects function to line up the buttons according to the screenshot below. You can multi-select objects by holding Ctrl and left mouse click.

Select the SAP.com button 

When you select a dark color, the font will automatically become lighter like white tocompensate to maximize readability.

Select Time Entry and Leave Request 

There are two sets of colors: Basic and Corporate. Personas provides the Basic colorpalette. You can define the Corporate colors in the Administration transaction to makesure that any screen you build is using the color set of your company.
