Easy Stand – Height Adjustment
Depress buttons to adjust
Adjust machine to accommodate client
Slide bar so pin falls back into slot
Easy Stand - Transfer Pull chair up to
machine
Secure chair
Transfer client into machine
Provide assistance as necessary
Easy Stand – Client Positioning Place feet in slot with
heel pushed back Ensure knees are
firmly resting on pad and secure strap
Use lap restraint If restraint doesn’t fit
at first, wait until partially lifted and reapply
Easy Stand – Lifting/Standing Move lever to lift
client Check client to
ensure no pain, dizziness, or lightheadedness
Have client change hand positions to support trunk
Easy Stand - Program Have client stand for a few minutes Progression:
Have client shift weight from side to side Have client use arm devices Modify duration, frequency, intensity
Duration – i.e. 2 min. moving, 1 minute rest Frequency – 2x/week instead of 1 Intensity – modify hydraulic resistance

Pull top pin
Reattach pin to slot located on other bar
Secure pin in place

Secure pin and rotate knob to adjust difficulty setting
Lower numbers equal less resistance

** Note: Each notch is 5% of client’s body weight
Vigor Gym - Squat Have client lay on mat Position client so
knees are about 90 degrees for greater ROM
Place knees shoulder width apart
Extend legs but do not lock knees
