I. Competencias que el estudiante adquiere en esta asignatura: Las competencias, tanto bsicas como especficas, estn extradas de la Propuesta de Grado de la Facultad Adventista de Teologa (Apartado 3. Objetivos y competencias). 1. Competencias bsicas reseadas en 3.2:

A. Capacidad de adquisicin de una cultura extensa y aplicacin de los conocimientos tericos de la condicin humana y de los procesos, tiempos y circunstancias de la sociedad actual; as como de las capacidades lingsticas para su desarrollo y aplicacin. B. Capacidad para aplicar los conocimientos tericos a la iglesia, en la atencin pastoral a su feligresa y en favor de la sociedad y en la resolucin de sus problemas. C. Capacidad para integrar conocimientos y emitir juicios que incluyan reflexiones teolgicas y de responsabilidad social y tica especialmente en su vinculacin con los derechos humanos y la fe cristiana.

3 D. Conocimiento, comprensin y aplicacin de los principios tericos y metodolgicos para el estudio, el anlisis y el desarrollo del quehacer teolgico. E. 2. Competencias especficas reseadas en 3.2:

2.1. De carcter conceptual (saber): CEC_A. Conocimiento de la Biblia, sus lenguas y literatura para la comprensin necesaria de sus textos, sus modos de enseanza y predicacin de los mismos. CEC_B. Acreditar la comprensin de los conocimientos propios de la teologa y sus disciplinas auxiliares y saber aplicarlos en sus menesteres profesionales mediante la elaboracin y defensa de argumentos, y la resolucin de problemas. 2.2. De carcter procedimental (saber hacer): CEP_A. Capacidad para leer, analizar e interpretar el texto bblico traducido y en sus lenguas originales. 2.3. De carcter actitudinal (ser): CEA_A. Estima y consideracin al estudio de las Sagradas Escrituras y de las creencias fundamentales de la fe cristiana y habilidad para presentar con humildad, lgica y autoridad las razones de su fe y de la misin de la iglesia.

II. Resultados del aprendizaje que el estudiante adquiere en esta asignatura: 1. Conocer los mtodos de interpretacin del Antiguo Testamento 2. Describir el mtodo lingstico-teolgico 3. Considerar la exgesis de Gnesis 4. Desarrollar la exgesis de Daniel

Evaluacin 1. Horas de clase y trabajo personal . Esta asignatura tiene 3 crditos lectivos y 5

crditos ECTS en un semestre (5 ECTS x 25 = 125 horas), que corresponden a 48 horas de clase y 77 de trabajo personal por semestre. Las horas de clase estn construidas como un Laboratorio de Teologa basado en el Dilogo, el Anlisis y el Debate (modelo DAD). Las horas de trabajo personal estn distribuidas en lecturas, trabajos y preparacin de exmenes segn el siguiente programa.

2. Lecturas . Lectura semestral de un manual de exgesis del Antiguo Testamento (250-300 pginas). Entrega del informe de lectura segn el formato de la materia Mtodos de estudio e investigacin en la fecha lmite del examen final. Requisito obligatorio para aprobar la asignatura. (15 hrs/20%): 2 ptos .

3. Trabajos . Trabajo de investigacin sobre la exgesis de un captulo del libro de Gnesis 12-50 [Narrativas Patriarcales] segn los procedimientos de exgesis bblica que se impartirn en clase. Informe escrito de 15-18 pginas mnimo al final del semestre segn el formato de la materia Mtodos de estudio e investigacin. (62 hrs/80%): 8 ptos .

4. Se aplicar una penalizacin del 5% (0.5 ptos.) en la nota final por cada da de retraso

4 en la entrega de los trabajos.

5. Las ausencias se permitirn hasta un mximo de un 15% de los perodos de clase. Por encima de este porcentaje sern penalizadas con 0.5 puntos menos en la nota final de la asignatura por cada perodo de ausencia suplementario.
