Ordered further, That upon confirmation ofthe nomination, the President be immediately notified of the Senate's action and the Senate return to legislative session. (July 25, 2002)

Ordered, That on Monday, July 29, 2002, immediately following disposition of the nomination of Julia Smith Gibbons, of Tennessee, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit (Cal. No. 810), the Senate remain in executive session to consider the following nominations:

Joy Flowers Conti, of Pennsylvania, to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Pennsylvania (Cal. No. 827);

John E. Jones III, of Pennsylvania, to be U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania (Cal. No. 828).

Ordered further, That there be two minutes of debate equally divided and controlled in the usual form between the votes, that the votes following the nomination of Julia Smith Gibbons be ten minutes in duration, and that the Senate proceed to vote on confirmation of the nominations.
