Overview of the JV Operations

• 1973, ExxonMobil formed JV with Nigeria in the ratio of 40:60.

• JV has 105 platforms and 200 producing wells

• Condensate and Crude blending due to depletion of reserves.

• Current production is between 600-700kpd

Introduction to QIT

• Tank farm consisting of 14 storage tanks-6.5Mbbls and 3 loading lines.

• Qua Iboe crude from offshore fields in the Bight of Biafra.

• Liquid Handling Capacity of 600kpd.

• Vessels are loaded through SPM

• Accomodates ship of about 312000 DWT.

• Treated crude is loaded for transportation.

• Light crude with sulphur of 0.13%

For MPN,

Alternative means of gas usage should be considered instead of flaring.

For SPE,

Trip should be made for a longer duration.
