What is an exclamation
mark?
An exclamation mark looks like this
It is a line with a full stop underneath.
It is used at the end of an utterance or sentence.

When do we use one?
To show something is very surprising or shocking.
What a big pile of gifts you have!

It can be used after just one word
For example,
It shows a word which is being uttered in shock or surprise.
