http://bit.ly/ExcelSecretsForProductivity - enroll into my Excel course on Udemy and learn more great tips. If you work in Excel every day, you need a custom toolbar with all your favorite buttons you use every day, multiple times a day. At the top of Excel screen on the left there is a drop down to the right of Excel icon. If you hover over it you will see that it is an option to Customize Quick Access Toolbar. There are a number of options (buttons) that you can add to your Quick Access Toolbar once you click on the drop down. Just keep adding them one by one. If you don't see a button you really want, go to File menu, click on 'Options' and in the dialog box that opens look for buttons you want under Popular Commands. Click on options you want and add them to the list on the right - your Quick Access Toolbar. Now that all your favorite Excel buttons are on your custom toolbar, let's move it below the ribbon to cut down on screen travel time for your eyes. I also like a lot of work space on my screen, so I will collapse the ribbon to free up that space. To do that right click on any words on the main menu and check 'Collapse Ribbon' option.
