Examples of Fonts
The Titles appear over a scene – helps the titles be discreet and don’t distarct much from the story
They are placed on the bottom left of the screen, the colour matches the lighting in the current scene.
All the text is in capitals and the lines alternate between being bold.
The scene that the titles appear over has very warm colours, the titles link to the colour that the lamp is exposing.
Bridget Jone’s Diary
CGIThis links with the rest of the film, gives audience an ides of what the film is about.

Shows the main character over the titles shot, allows audience to connect
The background colours used are quite bright, they represent a beach which is where the current scene is taking place
The title is all in black bold, some enlargened to emphasize the contrast of words

The font is quite fancy, relates to a wedding. It is white, this also reflects the dress and the purity of a wedding.The title itself is large.

‘Rome’ is written in a fancy font, makes it stand out – suggests a place of glamour and impotance

The font looks hand written, which suggests to the audience a personal feel to the film – this is aided and linked to the character by the use of voiceover

The colours in the shot are all shades of blue, this subtly suggests masculinity which links in with the storyline. This also contrasts the title ‘Made of Honor’ as it is usually a term for females, however the film itself challenges this idea.
