TRANSCRIPT

1) Find out what files exist in the Agile system by searching part number. A) Sometimes a .DWG file only exists, an AutoCAD model

and drawing is all but most of the time an Inventor Part (.IPT) and a .DWG are available.

2) End goal of updating parts is to have an Inventor Part(.IPT) and Inventor Drawing(.IDW) on current template with proper GD&T. A) The part and/or drawing need to be created or updated. B) Existing parts can be checked out of Agile, modified if

needed and the drawing created using proper GD&T. C) Once everything is complete, an ECO is made and the

drawings/parts are checked back into Agile. D) This will start the release of updates into production.

Over 250 single part models and drawings were complete and attached to ECO for release.

More than a dozen assembles with multiple subcomponent parts and drawings were updated.

Only AutoCAD model and drawing existed

Using some trigonometry the compound angle model was created in Inventor.
